winning is awesome but lets be honest, he wasn't likely in the Cubs plans as I'm sure they want their 4th OF to be a good fielder, not one that is pretty much as bad as Schwarber and Soler may be. This is a win for Coghlan. He will get the chance to play everyday in Oakland, if he hits good he will be a FA and get his one and only chance for a payday. If he hits really good, contenders will be probably be interested in him at the deadline and he could play out his last arb year with a contender. For the Cubs, it has to be a straight dump...I probably valued Coghlan a little too much as I thought a 2 win player who is only 30 could get at least a slight better return than this Aaron Brooks guy.
