    Not that it matters but we had Jake, Lester and Lackey lined up for the series in Pittsburgh next week and now it will be Hendricks, Jake and Lester most likely

    Records Jake could be going for tonight if the game is played: -Any sort of scoreless outing will allow Jake to break Bob Gibson's record for lowest ERA over a 20 start span -If Jake pitches 5 2/3 straight scoreless innings to start the game he will break the record for most consecutive scoreless innings at home in the modern era (since 1900). Current record is 54 scoreless innings. -If Jake has a quality start tonight, it will put him 1 away from Gibson's record for most consecutive quality starts at 26 -If Jake starts and the Cubs win tonight, it will break the record for most consecutive team wins in games started by a pitcher (currently 17)

    Why? Cause I'm from Texas and despise everything Houston and their fans. I didn't realize the fans in Texas were so passionate. I just assumed baseball was something people in Texas lightly followed to pass the time between football seasons.

    I've love this team. People have said in the past that the Cubs are at a disadvantage building a team that plays in a ballpark that can play wildly different from day to day. But here we are with a team that can dong like crazy or grind out runs.
