There's really not a lot of 40 roster help in Iowa. We do have a spot open on the 40 but do you want to burn that on Black for (presumably) 1 game? Otherwise you are talking about Aaron Brooks, who has been starting and been bad, and Giovanni Soto who has been really bad

Also awesome about the win is it does not let the Cubs fall behind the Rangers for best record in baseball.

I thought it was awesome regardless of outcome Coghlan for Almora was bad, as was PH Addison and having him bunt and then not keeping his glove in the game.

Also I'm slightly disappointed that nothing has hit into left field for the 3 innings there has been a relief pitching manning it.

Ok about 45 mins ago I would have said this was a terribly managed game by Maddon but since it worked out: Best. Game. Ever!
  8. UMFan83
It's either him or Hammel out there

So does that mean the only people not used in this game are Arrieta, Hendricks and Lackey?

    Winner

    Reds bullpen ERA tonight: 5.00

    Thank you Hoover

I will be so mad if that comes back to bite us

Now please don't be like the Nats game
  15. UMFan83
Just please do something besides K or GIDP

Hoover has allowed at least 1 ER in 9 of his 17 appearances this year

Hoover has allowed at least 1 hit in 13 of his 17 appearances this year

Their June splits suggest they are pretty pedestrian but I mean no Fowler and Soler does hurt. Like Soler or not at least he has good ABs. Or better ones than Baez.

The Reds offense would be such buzzkills if they scored a run to prevent the bullpen nono. I mean you have Pitcher Spot # 2, June Zobrist and Heyward due up its practically a gimme
  20. UMFan83
    Yep!! Exciting isn't it!

    Strop

Like Joe realizes we now have to have a pitcher play the field for however long this game goes right?
  23. UMFan83
    What in the hell
  24. UMFan83
Well I'm not feeling good about this one now
  25. UMFan83
Not now that Votto is due up unless a GIDP
