    i think you're in teh same camp as me on this...i don't hate vin scully at all. i just think he's a senile boring old man as an announcer, and, for whatever reason, the whole baseball world pretends he isn't. Yeah, the guy was one of the greats, and has a great voice, but most of his announcing is just rambling nonsense at this point and so many people act like he's still at the top of his game. The guy should have retired a long time ago. CUBS WIN. this sounds like you are describing our own former broadcaster all the way down to the "Cubs win" at the end

    They probably shouldn't have lost to the Wild last year. They blew a 2-0 series lead to the Blackhawks the year before. This year they blew a 3-1 series lead and were tied heading into the final period of Game 7. I think the choker label was justified.
