He's up 2nd, so if they want to give up an at bat just so Bumgarner can face Heyward/Soler/Fowler at 100 pitches, I'm on board. i mean the went no DH with bumgarner, didn't they? Yeah but that was probably stupid.

It's funny I was thinking "he's over 100 pitches he might be done" but the Giants are in a plaoffs dogfight so he will almost certainly pitch the 7th. Meanwhile I suspect Jake will be lifted.

No Rizzo today. 3-16 lifetime against Bumgarner but I'd like to see him get some hacks against a very tough potential playoff pitcher.

I remember he opposite. I want to say someone like Kevin Millwood had a no hitter in the 9th for the Phils against the Cubs in 2004. I think we were down 2 and somehow we broke up the no no and tied it but then the Phils walked off bottom 9
