I thought the Pirates defense was supposed to constantly self destruct for our amusement, wtf? -
after leadoff guy got on, there was identical singles that took the runner from 1st to 3rd via a ground ball single through the 1B-2B hole, the second one scoring the first run of the inning.

Kyle getting hit fairly hard blah

I've only watched a little of Kyle this year including about 2 batters today but the admittedly small amount I've seen, he doesn't seem to have the pinpoint command that he had so often last year.

Did they really give 1,908 of THOSE rings out? There had to have been a lesser version given out to the majority of those 1,908 people right? Otherwise you are looking at roughly $135 million spent on rings.

What did Rondo get this offseason? I'm guessing it's similar to that. 2/28, so give Rose $2m because he doesn't have a history of coaching hating him.

Obviously he's not going to get anywhere close to the max. However I will be super interested to see what contract he gets. I would guess it would be a 'prove it' type of deal like 2 yr/$30m or something.
