  1. Sorry, 6 solo homers and a 2-run homer. Seriously, shut up chill...the opposite of everything he says happens.
  2. im on a call for work and ive just been watching my twitter feed explode at each of the HRs....then a momentary calm and then another tweet explosion
  3. 9-6, comeback is definitely on holy horsefeathers
  4. Tight Lat for Lester. That sounds like a not that bad of an injury to have.
  5. You just knew KB was going to go deep in garbage time
  6. Sort of did look like he tapped out. Which would be much better than an arm injury. Cant wait to hear the meatballs go after him for taking himself out of a game just because he was having a rough inning.
  7. seriously though, what did he do wrong besides walking hamilton? That Votto HR is an out 90% of the games at Wrigley Field. Other than that it was a bunch of BABIP bloops and grounders. He was inducing weak contact. I literally can not think of a scenario where a 7+ ER inning could possibly be less of the pitchers fault. he's been horsefeathers for like 4 straight starts now He hasnt been great but the results have been ok, 6 IP 3 ER, 6.2 IP 3 ER, 4 IP 3 ER. I honestly assign very little blame for him on today's game. No not the numbers you want from your $155m ace, but I wouldnt say hes been whatever word that horsefeathers is being used in place of.
  8. Well now he's hurt. Getting 6+ outs in an inning must be taxing on your arm.

  10. jesus christ, ok well no Cubs baseball today for me
  11. i feel robbed. Lester has induced 6 outs this inning
  12. And another bloop and its 2-0 still no outs. This is like the most unlucky inning ever
  13. Are you horsefeathering kidding me, 2 bloops and a slow grounder perfectly placed up the middle lead to a run and 2 on and 0 outs
  14. jerseys been all over this forum today except to post the game thread for today.
  15. In the last few seasons we've walked off games on a wild pitch twice (Miami last year and Cincinnati tonight), a walk on what should have been strike 3 (Cardinals last year), an error on an inning ending double play ground ball (vs Phillies this year) and Polanco's random dance party (Pirates 2015) I'm sure I'm missing another crazy way the Cubs have walked off. Oh yeah on a Bryant home run
  16. I will take it. Go Cubs, don't pull that horsefeathers again
  17. horsefeathering almora. The AB seems over at 0-2 after that horrible swing
