  1. Willson probably should have read that single better and scored right? Edit: moot point now
  2. Tommy's girly throw screws the Cubs again
  3. Well if this game fits the pattern the most the Cubs can score today is 4 so gotta keep them right here
  4. Whoops not just to actually winning games threads I start
  5. More good signs for the Cubs: they have a +29 run differential over their last 11 games
  6. We are playing like a 96 win team since that awful 6 game losing streak (13-9). still due for a nice hot streak
  7. Cubs win, Brewers 1 out away from losing
  8. Wow watching a lineup loaded up with lefty mashers is not fun when righties come into the game
  9. Cubs play more baseball today. Will they score a bunch of runs or hit into a bunch of double plays? Who knows, at least we don't have to look at Lackey today.
  10. For the last 13 games we've alternated scoring 4 or less runs and then the next game 7 or more runs (except one game where we only scored 4) 1 7 1 14 4 9 3 7 3 4* 2 11 0
  11. Either we knock the ball around or we GIDP everytime someone gets on base. There's no middle ground with this team.
  12. [tweet]https://twitter.com/BForanNHL/status/878317465196937217[/tweet]
  13. Its hard enough getting a max guy to come to Chicago, if the Bulls are already good. I don't think you're getting them with a 25 win roster. I think its definitely a few years of high picks and hoping to draft a star before you're in the picture of any max guys considering them. Any cap space the Bulls have should be used for absorbing bad contracts in exchange for lottery picks.
  14. Bowman's main mission in life is to bring back every Cup winner that has had to go in a salary dump.

  16. done deal it sounds like. What the horsefeathering horsefeathers is going on??
  17. WTF did the Cubs winning the World Series transfer the billy goat curse to the other Chicago teams? (i know nothing about this return, I just hate losing these core players.
  18. Just when you start to feel good about the Cubs again, [expletive] McHorseteeth's face fills up your TV screen for a couple of hours. Can the WGN broadcast have similar blanking out issues tonight only it blanks out everytime that jerkwad's face is shown on camera?
  19. I think his star lost a bunch of shine due to the fact that the Magic have probably been the worst lottery drafters in the league since he joined.
  20. I'd say definitely under 30 wins I saw somewhere on twitter that a vegas capper estimated O/U at 35 wins, but I dont think thats possible. And if they did win 35 games I'd be pisssed.
  21. So in the last 6 months GarPax has... -traded 2 quality players in McDermott and Gibson for Payne and that white stiff. Now Payne has basically been rendered useless with Dunn (and Grant and MCW and maybe Rondo) on the roster. So we just gave away 2 decent trade chips for nothing. -then they take possibly the best available asset in the NBA and trade him for 2 guys who have major red flags and likely neither have a ceiling close to Jimmy's as well as pick up a somewhat 1 dimensional guy whose common comp is Niko -oh and they also gave up their 1st round pick in the trade -then they sell their high 2nd round pick for money I'm concerned that our FO has brain damage. How they turned Deng, Taj, Jimmy, McDermott, the number 16 pick and the number 38 pick into Lavine, Dunn, Maarkenen, Payne and that other stuff is beyond my comprehension.
  22. Haha didn't think about it that way. We actually bought the pick that was used to draft Deng too. So we gave some cash to Phoenix and then 10+ years later it was given back to us by Golden State. No other players involved (besides Bynum). I can't not be a Bulls fan but this is the closest I could probably get to disowning one of my favorite teams. There is no excuse for what occurred tonight.
