  1. "I do my hop and I [land] on the left side," he said. "It's my right calf that's the problem, not the left." So he will keep the hop, but he hurt his leg not by landing on it because it was the other foot that was injured? Someday check the video on that because I am not sure I remembered it happening like that.
  2. Forte looked good. Definitely more speed than Benson. He looked good in the open field once and can catch the ball. He did fumble once, and I wonder if that is due to him running so tall because he leaves so much of his body exposed.
  3. Eastern Conference composite records: 2006-07: 583-647 2007-08: 582-648 1 game worse this year. Considering how much better Boston and Orlando are, and the fairly safe assumption that 9 teams in the West were better than everyone in the East aside from Boston, Detroit and Orlando, it's not a far cry to say most of the East got worse. The west got better too. But we were talking about how the Easy got better with respect to the Bulls, not the whole NBA.
  4. I don't think the Cavs and Raptors are worse than last year. The East got better which makes them look worse. Dwight Howard improved immensely which made the Raptors look worse. Did Orlando have Lewis last last? No.
  5. Is your response? I only had to repeat myself because I believe my point is valid and not properly understood.
  6. And the Cubs had a good record in Dusty's first year; that's something the Reds won't achieve this season. Is Corey Patterson still leading off? Three words: Lenny Harris started
  7. But as a said before, they can return to form, but that form is like an inflated American dollar that can't do what it did before because what it does it always in relation to what other teams are
  8. With the right moves they can make the playoffs, but who is out there other than draft picks? A coach alone won't do it.
  9. I don't think that it is clear that they will. When the East gets better, they get worse. Until the East gets worse (not in the near future), the Bulls aren't going anywhere with this team.
  10. Hinrich is worse. So is Deng. So is Gordon. And the Easy got better. A lot better. Same players, same jump shooting team. They need Beasley or Rose bad.
  11. Yeah the Knicks pay more, but those two are smart coaches and I don't think they will just run to the money. But the Knicks have more talent, they just need a tough coach will will corral them. The Bulls don't have a decent PG, a SH who makes terrible decisions, and Loul Deng who is soft and can't post up. The Bulls only have one decent low-post threat, and that is Gooden and he aint much. Plus they have a center who is a second stringer at best and has no offensive moves. Who wants this mess?
  12. Avery Johnson fired. D'Antoni probably next. The Bulls have some better prospects now, but who would want to coach that mess?
  13. did you happen to catch the part where it said this began when she was 15? By "this" their friendship began. So far no one, Clemens, McCready, or her father have admitted that they slept together when she was 15. If you are going to believe McCready when she said they did have an affair after she was 18, you should believe her when she says they did not have sex at 15. It makes for a good story, albeit one with no proof. It seems that McCready did have an affair with Clemens. I don't know why McCready or her dad would lie about this. What do they have to gain except another lawsuit? Clemens should just admit everything while has has any respect at all. Even people in Texas have to be beginning to hate him.
  14. While Prince Fielder is probably bigger, he is right on that track. While I'm not a Brewers fan, he has too much talent to see it go to waste. But I remember hearing Prince is a vegetarian or mostly vegetarian now because he realized he was fat. The extremely baggy pants don't help either. Ward was out of shape last year, and he hit over .300 and had an OBP over .400. He was maybe the best PH in baseball. Yes he is overweight, but I don't think it has anything to do with his numbers right now.
  15. I just sent that in as an eCrap to Boers and Bernstein. I think I have a pretty good chance of getting on the air with that one. I think when her father said that the relationship changed after her engagement with Cain ended, he meant that it changed from non-sexual to sexual.
  16. Her father said the relationship changed when Mindy's engagement to "Lois & Clark" actor Dean Cain broke off in 1998. He told the paper the affair was an "on-again, off-again thing" and described Clemens as a "gentleman."
  17. I don't think he has gained weight. He came into spring training early and I thought I heard reports that he lost weight.
  18. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2008/04/28/2008-04-28_mindy_mccready_weeps_as_she_confirms_aff.html She says she cannot refute anything in the story, but if she claims that she didn't sleep with Roger until she was 18 he will be off the hook for statutory rape. To think if Clemens would have just admitted everything right away, everyone would have moved on. Now he is really digging himself a hole. No Hall of Fame, no respect. But he dug his own grave by being so adamantly against all of the accusations.
  19. On ESPN today Mel Kiper was asked who had a great draft and he first mentioned the Bears. We'll see. The 08 draft will be known as a bad aid on other past drafts, i.e. the Bears should have gotten a QB and Benson stunk which is going to set them back a few years.
  20. Who is going to be the third-string QB? Marty Booker?
  21. Just what they need - another good pitcher. Owings, Haren, Webb is already formidable. They have no hitting though.
  22. i think the starting guards will be 2 of garza/metcalf/beekman. They will all be competing. I would have liked to see some of Beekman last year. Haas too. What was Lovie thinking?
  23. it wasn't so much that his numbers were bad, but his workouts were. he was very inaccurate. I see. Well it's not like he will be throwing deep with the Bears' receivers!
  24. There aren't any decent lineman out there I guess. This means that St. Clair will probably move to left guard.
  25. The Bears should trade up then. Right now they have 5 more picks.
