  1. I thought Fukudome was supposed to have a good arm
  2. Shows how much he knows. This series is going 3.
  3. Should have sent him cause Ramirez can't throw
  4. At least they won a championship lately I'd rather be championshipless and not be a slackjawed mulleted freak. Not me
  5. Hub on the SCORE keeps on saying that Harris has a degenerative knee problem and his career could be over. He will never be the same player. Can the Bears get any of his signing bonus back?
  6. If the Cubs could win three innings I would be surprised
  7. They need to catch their flight to LA. Might as well just forfeit
  8. Cubs aren't scoring any runs this game. Fukudome better not see another at bats in this series. Nice season folks.
  9. I get so sick of hearing arguments like this. We're talking about professional athletes here, not preschoolers playing soccer. If they're really affected that much by the fans being quiet or booing, then frankly they need to find something else to do or somewhere else to play. +1 Kerry Wood, the quintessential "tough Cub player," has publicly admitted that when the crowd gets down on him when he is pitching poorly, it affects him negatively. Do you want him to play somewhere else?
  10. Fukudome didn't play bad tonight. He wasn't the reason the Cubs lost.
  11. Soriano is not a playoff hitter because he can't hit very good pitching. Never has, never will.
  12. BY CRACKY
  13. I really hope we don't give in and sign him to an extension. We won't. We already signed can't-shoot Kirk Hinrich to a 13mil per deal to play shooting guard alongside Rose. I hate this organization. We're going to dump Ben Gordon like bad rubbish but they can't get enough of Kirk Hinrich. Hinrich was turning the corner after that playoff series against the Heat. Then he got the big deal. Now they can't trade them because he gets paid too much for his talent. I don't think the Bulls really want to keep him, but they have no choice.
  14. Mets fail terribly the last two seasons, and Minaya gets an extension a week before the season ends. Nice move!
  15. How is Gaudin better than Howry? Howry will only get to pitch in a blowout loss or win. He will have no impact on any series. But Wuertz should have been on the postseason roster.
  16. I have noticed that he is pretty quick to first base. I think he is fastest Cub pitcher.
  17. Kyle threw a much better deep ball today. It Rashied Davis could catch, the Bears would have won in overtime.
  18. He's not even 100%, is he? I dunno, who cares. It was a supreme waste of money. The Bears' brass thought he would be healthy after having surgery. When he is healthy he is possibly the best DT with regard to pressuring the QB in the league. He obviously is injured, which is why he sits out of most practices. His knee keeps swelling. But the Bears had to sign him. You can't give up on him. He has seen limited playing time so far, but when he is in the game he is just taking up space. Davis needs to start catching balls. He has had two easy drops the last two weeks. He signed the big deal in the offseason and has yet to produce. Even if Tilman wasn't the instigator, he knows better than that. How many times have we seen the refs miss the first punch and see the second and give that guy the penalty. I don't blame the refs so much as Tilman. At the end of regulation when Orton decided to run for the first down and almost got killed, I am pretty sure he had one of the TEs wide open right in front of him. What was he thinking in running for it?
  19. I'd snatch him up if possible if I were Angelo. Release Rex. I would think Minnesota would also be in the market for Garcia.
  20. I agree. I don't see any way those two get along. They already had to make the radio booth bigger to fit the egos of Farmer and Stone in it, and now the Sox are going to have to do the same to the TV booth. My hope is that at the very least Stone doesn't let Hawk incessantly rail on the umpiring as if they always get hosed and no one else does.
  21. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3589405 "[Yost] didn't have all the answers for what is going on the last two weeks and I'm not sure I have all the answers," general manager Doug Melvin said during a news conference at a hotel in Chicago. "I'm not sure this is the right one, either." Well there's a confident GM!
  22. What did Burrell do?
