He most certainly should not have. Agree. No need to rush a 20 year old SS, just because some people think it would be "cool" to see. It wasn't rushing. It wasn't "cool" to see. Castro was ready and he would have provided the best SS/2B combo the team could have put out there (Castro/Theriot). Fontenot has shown he isn't fundamentally sound enough to be an everyday 2B. Theriot barely is too. losing a year of Castro's pre-FA and pre-arb eligibility for this is almost certainly NOT worth it Tell that to the Braves last year who held back Tommy Hanson and were close to getting in the playoffs. They didn't make the same mistake with Heyward this year. You would think that when a team doesn't win a championship for over 100 years that they would be smarter than this. Little things count.

If the Bears land Faneca which I doubt due to his salary, will Beekman get a legitimate shot at winning the center job? If the Bears land Faneca and move Beekman over, the line went from bad to average which is a big jump.

The NBA playoffs: FAN-tastic! The Hawks and Bulls started off their playoff series with the Hawks and Bulls playing game 1 a day apart. Now by the time the Bulls play game 4, it will be the day before the Hawks play game 6 That is only for the first round so all the games can be on TV and not overlap?

Orton is a well-below average NFL QB and Tebow wont be half as good as Orton. That is why it was a terrible move.

Barkley's been very pro-Bulls this series. I don't get what you're saying. He guaranteed the Bulls would lose after being up double digits at halftime. He was adamant.

Brady Quinn sucks. How can anyone feel sorry for him? I don't. I was just pointing out how he just got traded and had a chance at a fresh start, but now this. Sucks to be him. Well just on ability, he should beat out Tebow.
