I have heard a bunch of people say they only thing that NBA players want is a fat contract, but I have heard two people (Wade and Bosh) say that they didn't like the effort their team plays with and indirectly they want to win. This is good for the Bulls if it draws people away from NY/NJ and to Chicago. Boers and Bernstein said that these playoffs don't mean anything because the Bulls have no chance of winning a championship. I agree, but if the Bulls continue to fight and show some FAs that they are close to really putting something together, it just might draw one in that was unexpected.

Him and Rose's skills will not compliment each other at all and each will be less effective. If the Bulls want the best bang for their buck this offseason (outside of Lebron of course) they should target Bosh as their main FA. Him and Ros playing pick and roll would be awesome. Just add some additional shooters and defenders. After signing Wade or Bosh by the way, we'd have roughly $4.3M to spend on another FA piece. I don't give two craps about bang for the buck. I want the best team and the Bulls have plenty of money to spend. Well, sorry, bang for buck was a stupid term to use in this context because Wade and Bosh will both get the same MAX contract. Bosh will make us a better team than Wade, despite the fact that Wade is probably a bit better. Just not as good of a fit. The reason I originally said bang for buck was because I was thinking about other PF options such as Boozer, Lee, and Amare. Bosh will provide to be more valuable than them as well, and potentially cheaper as well. If it is between Bosh and Wade I want Bosh too. The Bulls desperately need a low post presence. But the team can't win a championship adding just Bosh unless LeBron goes to a terrible team like NY or NJ. So I am looking for a way to get two guys: a 4 and a 2.

Wade has expressed some discontent with his team this series. Maybe that increases his chances of coming to the Bulls. I am looking for some way for the Bulls to get a top line guy like Wade and a second tier free agent. Would a Wade/Boozer pickup be financially possible? If they managed that, they should be considered NBA title contenders.

Niemi is average at best. A goalie is the most important position in the NHL, akin to a QB in football. And you can't win a championship with an average goalie unless you have a world class defense. Bowman was on the Score last week and said he was totally comfortable with Niemi and never was tempted to trade for a goalie. Now he might have wasted a great season.
