  1. If the quote supposedly from LeBron that leaked today is true ("I don't want to be 31 with bad knees and no title"), then he is going to Miami or Chicago.
  2. Wade said no to that. Something about Jay-Z not being loyal enough.
  3. Breaking news: Jordan has given up his stake in the Bobcats and is coming to Chicago with LeBron to ensure that LeBron doesn't overtake Jordan's legacy
  4. 1. These people don't actually have any sources. They are making stuff up to make themselves look good. Since everyone is doing this and most everyone will be wrong, a single person won't look bad if they were found to put out complete lies because everyone is. Or 2. Maybe World Wide Wes is after he got shut out.
  5. Fall down hilarious. It must have been a chiasm.
  6. Jim Gray said the ESPN special was his idea and he approached Carter and LeBron about it.
  7. Carmelo Anthony is getting married close to LeBron's venue which may be the reason it is there. Of course LeBron could always fly there from anywhere. Is it just me or has the Chicago brass been remarkably silent after their meeting with LeBron?
  8. Let me rephrase that. Regular season wins don't always matter. How many people, after the Cavs lost in the playoffs said, "You know, this roster isn't really that good."
  9. He wanted one more look at the rings I guess cause he is never going to see one again when he signs with Cleveland
  10. There is no way Cleveland is last. Cleveland is still in the driver's seat. No way. He just started a new twitter, just started a new website, is doing a huge ESPN special for his announcement. He's starting a new chapter of his career All of those occurred before LeBron pleaded with Bosh to come to Cleveland. Cleveland is very much in the running.
  11. There is no way Cleveland is last. Cleveland is still in the driver's seat.
  12. Because they're going for LeBron and announce all 3 at the same time You could also say that they don't want to be overshadowed by LeBron's news
  13. Darn. If no LeBron, Morrow is the second best option.
  14. No way. Are they better than the at-this-moment Bulls? No. But they are a solid playoff team. They took Atlanta to the limit without Bogut.
  15. He has a player option for 18 million. Ouch!
  16. Forget Reddick if you are saving $ to get Richardson. I'm not interested in him.
  17. Not enough. Allen's not gonna leave the Celtics unless he's getting big money. He's signing with the Celtics for $1M, right? No, but he's not going to leave his comfort zone with teammates he knows, and a coaching staff he knows, for a nominal increase in a chance at a ring. But he goes with Thibodeau who he knows. He left to go to Boston to get a ring once. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to the Bulls. Plus he would get paid a lot more than the Celtics can offer. Don't forget the almighty dollar.
  18. Regular season wins don't always matter when it comes to the playoffs. Two times in a row Cleveland had a great record and did squat in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Cleveland's lack of secondary options means that a good team will beat them 4/7. This is much harder to do in the regular season. The playoffs are about matchups. Cleveland doesn't match up very well against playoff teams. All I said was I think the Bucks are better than the bulls The Bucks aren't bad. Is Redd going to bet he 2 and Salmons the 3?
  19. The 2010-11 NBA salary cap is 58 million. That's 2 million higher than anticipated. The Bulls had enough for two max free agents as it turns out. This leaves the Bulls a little more money to go after Ray Allen with. They wouldn't have to eat as much of Deng's contract if the wanted to trade him.
  20. Regular season wins don't always matter when it comes to the playoffs. Two times in a row Cleveland had a great record and did squat in the playoffs. 21. Cleveland is not a 60-win talent team.
  22. Who said anything about 60 wins? I see no reason to think they can't win 50 to 55. They should be in the hunt for a top 4 seed in the playoffs. Right now Boston and Orlando r prob better but other than those 2 I don't see a team clearly better than the Bulls especially if theu get a shooter. You said you'd put them against any other team in the east. That sounds like a 60 win team to me. I'd put the Heat, Celtics, and Magic as better, and the Bulls probably on the same level as the Hawks and Bucks. I would put the Bucks ahead of them as well. A 50-win team in the Celtics dismantled Cleveland this year. Regular season wins don't matter.
  23. They would have to get rid of Deng first to free up some cash. If Boozer is getting 15 million, there is just enough for LeBron to get the max (I think). Granted Allen was at the end of a huge contract last year, but he got $18 million in 2010. I think two years, 20 million would get it done. But Deng would have to be traded and very very little in the form of a player contract would have to come back. The Bulls would have to eat a good portion of Deng's salary. But if the Bulls are all in this offseason, why not?
  24. Probably. The stock for the parent company of the Knicks, MSG, was up 6% today.
