can we clear enough room to make a run at carmelo? Technically, they have enough cap room now to make a run at Carmelo. They just don't have anything Denver would want in return for trading him. Deng i gotta say, deng looks way better than he did a month ago. He looks much better when I don't have to watch his soft butt play.

Udonis Haslem or Brendan Haywood would be nice coming off the bench, but if Drew Gooden got paid like he did, they'll price themselves out. Haywood got something like 6/$55 from the Mavs today. Holy. Crap. Is there any big that Mark Cuban won't overpay for? The Cubs?

Why? Hinrich and Salmons aren't very good. We can replace them with guys that, you know, can make outside shots! Like? You might be able to find a shooter better than them, but not an overall better player.

If there's a SG out there that can hit 3s and play defense well enough to make up for Rose's deficiencies, I really like them next year. I had to consult with Chuck Klosterman first, but if Michael Redd is healthy, he may be an option. He has an 18 million dollar player option for next year. I don't imagine him turning that down. I've heard he won't be ready for the start of the regular season. He just won't be the same player he used to be due to the injuries.

Man wish the Bulls had Hinrich now. Or Salmons. People are mentioning Gilbert Arenas. That is a toughie. How much is left on his contract? If the Bulls could manage to get him, they just might be the second best team in the East and could definitely compete with Miami. But that is with the sane Arenas and he could blow up at any time.
