  1. I think the Bulls could beat one of those teams in the playoffs, but not two of them to get to Miami if the Bulls get a high enough seed.
  2. Atlanta, Washington, Miami, Toronto could all beat the Bulls. I just don't think this team can win two playoff series.
  3. The Bulls played Miami well during the regular season when LeBron was there and they have played Cleveland well the last two years too. The playoffs are a whole different game and I would be a little surprised to see them even in the ECF.
  4. Nice win tonight. Holding the Cavs to 83 at home was unexpected. I'd fire Lue.
  5. Reports are that GarPax know that the Bulls aren't winning this year. Even with Jo going down, they better still make some trades.
  6. It obviously won't happen this way, but I wouldn't be upset if I never saw Derrick Rose suit up for the Bulls again Same here. I'm really looking forward to when he's no longer on the roster. I hope they trade him and at least get something for him. I can't see him with the Bulls when his current contract is up. Why in God's name would anyone give up anything of value for Rose? Because some GMs take risks to get (former)stars with the hope they return to form

  8. Took an injury to Noah for Portis to see meaningful playing time
  9. There's always one dumb team. Jordan still runs one.
  10. Rose out tonight with a hamstring issue. My issue with Rose is that while I know he can't be the type of player he was, mentally he isn't as strong either. And by that I mean that the main reason I don't think he is attacking the rim like he used to is that he is playing for his next contract. He's said so himself. He'll get a $100M contract from someone if he doesn't get another major injury even if he plays like he is now. Maybe he can bring back the old Rose down the stretch and in the playoffs, but that's the only time he'll risk contact near the rim game after game.
  11. I can't see an NFL team wanting him, but Texas should
  12. 12/20 with 25 points not good enough for you? It is, but not typical of Rose this year. It's one thing if he wasn't finishing at the rim, but he doesn't even try to anymore.
  13. Everyone said Rose had to change his game after the injuries. Initiate less contact at the rim. Well that player is no good. Just odd seeing him attempt 15 footers and floaters. Is there no middle ground?
  14. Rose is nearly the worst player in the league: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/12/23/the-bernstein-brief-derrick-rose-by-the-numbers-is-a-nightmare/?cid=facebook_670_The_Score
  15. Rondo and Cousins for Rose and Noah/Taj/Gasol?
  16. I wonder how many more years it will take for the Bears to get back to the 10-6 Lovie was fired over
  17. Fox is so bad at clock management. Doesn't use his three TOs on defense with 1:15 left. Then gets the ball on offense with 20 seconds and actually tries to score. What?
  18. "I believe in the guys in this locker room, yeah," Butler said. "But I also believe that we probably have to be coached a lot harder at times. I'm sorry, I know Fred's a laid-back guy, and I really respect him for that, but when guys aren't doing what they're supposed to do, you got to get on guys, myself included. You got to do what you're supposed to do when you're out there playing basketball." http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/14403996/jimmy-butler-says-chicago-bulls-coached-lot-harder-fred-hoiberg
  19. Rose's mask is gone, he trimmed up his hair, and he's back to the goatee. Reverse Sampson effect I think.
  20. AHAH Van Gundy says to hire Thibs as your offensive coordinator for $2 million dollars since they were more efficient last year. What a turd. You can't bring back the good legged Rose, Van Gundy just because you bring Thibs back. Still sticking up for his man. Give it up. He was such a good coach that...no one hired him.
  21. Offense is pitiful, Jimmy is second in minutes in the league, and rookies see no playing time. Wait, who is coaching this team? At least they had defense last year.
  22. Didn't Gould have another game this year where he missed some field goals? He's gone next year.
  23. Luke Walton can coach, bro. Kerr gets the credit for all the wins in the books somehow
  24. Has he always had this bad of a shot selection or is Hoiberg's style encouraging it? Man had some ugly and terribly timed shots last night. Throws his body into defenders way too much. Van Gundy capitalized on every opportunity to tell us how great of a coach Thibs was. "This defensive mentality was instilled 5 years ago...The Bulls' offensive efficiency has dropped."
  25. Old teams that are trying to compete don't trade their best player. Well, the rumors are there. Jimmy and Rose are not far apart when I look at what they bring defensively and offensively. Rose's contract, Bulls brass tired of his act, Rose's loss of explosion to the rim, lack of willingness to work with Jimmy, and injury history are plenty of reasons that a trade is a good possibility., No, it's really not; any talk of the Bulls moving on from Rose are with the idea they simply don't re-sign him after his contract is up. What team is going to give up real value for an oft-injured player who is ridiculously expensive and who they could simply just try and sign as a FA after next season? This ain't baseball. IF the Bulls trade him it's for peanuts in the hope they can free up money for next season, but they're looking to be competitive now regardless of what happens between them and Rose after his contract is up, and getting rid of Rose basically kills them for this season. Put out some bait and see if a team like the Lakers or Jordan bites and wants to be stupid
