it would seem that he already has a defamation suit against the mother, regardless of the outcome of the case. True, but I don't think Kane would want to keep the whole mess around
The plastic bag that the paper bag was in? Why would that surprise you? If somebody showed up with a purported rape kit it would make sense to me for the lawyers to place it in a plastic bag. At first the DA made it seem like the accused's lawyers originated the bags. Later he clarified. Why no one who is familiar with rape kits in NY didn't pipe up and say they are stored in boxes surprises me
I'm not the biggest DiCaro fan but she's getting a lot of [expletive] for nothing on her Twitter feed. She's always been neutral through all of this giving her lawyer POV and (probably) wrongly trusted the accuser's lawyer (not the worst thing in the world) Everyone on the B/B show is trying their darnest to have some semblance of neutrality, but there is nothing that would ever convince them than Kane is innocent. Their true colors shine through. B/B continually pat themselves on the back for being nearly in their own minds the only voice of justice.
Accuser's lawyer messed up. Should have vetted the mom more thoroughly before yesterday's news conference. Did he even contact the Hamburg Police or Eerie County before yesterday's news conference to get their side?
Article did say"all evidence" All evidence that Erie County received. If they were only sent a portion of what was gathered, and the rest remained in Hamburg, or perhaps was disposed of? Again, I don't know how this works. Ok, yeah could be
Uh, yeah, pretty sure Patrick Kane himself didn't steal the damn evidence envelope. What the hell are you even talking about. Involved doesn't mean doing it himself. Maybe paying or talking to a cop. Wasn't he paying one to be his bodyguard already? To what end? Render evidence that helps him in court inadmissible? We don't know what the rape kit said yet, only Kane's attorney's claim

Who is they "they"? Why would they be so stupid? You can't tell who they is from the context? You can't tell that I wasn't sure? Didn't know if he meant the nurse or who stole it.
Seriously? Then how did the evidence end up on the doorstep? Are they saying its fake? Because if its not fake, there is definitely a hole in their handling of the evidence, whether a fellow cop did it or someone else. Unless "handling" doesn't mean someone else breaking into the evidence room and stealing it. "Handling" is just what the people who were supposed to have the evidence did with it.
