Mitch, Montgomery, and the offense as a whole been playing better because of the oline. The question is why didn’t the coaching staff know that Bars and Mustipher were the better players before being forced to play them due to injuries?

Sounds like they feel confident that the Packers will take care of the Bears for them. they shouldnt Why not? The Packers are playing the best football in the league right now and have always hammered the Bears with Rodgers.

Goff had surgery today on this thumb. Unlikely to play on Sunday. Not good.

Murray might also be out next week. Could have a Streveler against Wolford battle with each never have thrown an NFL pass before.

I hear ya. FWIW Goff claims he hurt it in the 3rd and it didn’t affect his throwing later in the game. Since the Rams won’t have clinched anything by kickoff, he has every reason in the world to try to play and the rams have every reason to win. The bears need to keep the game close so that the Rams have no incentive to look at the scoreboard and take their foot off the gas. It's questionable how good Goff is when healthy. When injured? Yikes. Hopefully McVay has a good game plan. Their backup has never thrown a regular season pass

Packers are going to have to win next week to retain home field. Not good for the Bears.
