  1. If I’m Oakland, I want as many picks from the Bears soon while they are bad. I don’t think a 2019 first and 2020 second is enough. Other teams will give more.
  2. I was reading a 1st, 2nd, 7th would do it. 2 1st would likely get it done, but I would like a 2nd rd back with Mack If Oakland decides to trade him, I’d do that trade so fast
  3. Floyd with a hand/wrist injury and Shaheen with an ankle injury. Can't afford to lose Floyd for any length of time. Is the Bears' 2019 and 2020 first round picks too much to give up for Mack if that got a trade done?
  4. David Haugh is Hanley's replacement on the Score morning show. Hanley was good but not great, but him and Mully had great ratings. One idea as to why there have been so many changes at 670 is that Jimmy deCastro now runs CBS Chicago radio stations. He was in charge of the debacle that was 87.7 The Game a few years back. He wants to show the radio world that he knows what he's doing this time around by making changes at the Score. I don't know why deCastro deserved the chance.
  5. Not a huge Hanley fan, but Haugh is worse. Mully and Hanley have had great ratings and Hanley was with the Score since ‘92 so I’m surprised.
  6. Wimbledon has started and Roger Federer has left Nike clothing for the Japanese brand Uniqlo. Federer was getting $10 million a year with Nike and Uniqlo is giving Roger $30 million over 10 years. Fed had been with Nike since 1994 and this deal would double his career on-court earnings. While Uniqlo might not seem to be a huge company in the US, I think they are about 75% the size of Nike. https://www.gq.com/story/roger-federer-uniqlo-sponsorship-deal/amp?__twitter_impression=true
  7. There's been a lot of animosity between the players and the USGA in recent years. In 2004 at Shinnecock, no one could keep their tee shots to the par 3 7th on the green because the USGA dried it out and cut it too short before the round started. At Chambers Bay in 2015, the greens were really bad. At Oakmont in 2016, Dustin Johnson was penalized because his ball moved when he put his putter next to the ball and the USGA took hours to come to a conclusion and tell him (that rule was subsequently changed). Last year, Erin Hills was way too easy and the fairways too wide. And this year the pin placements were much too hard on Saturday and put in places where a ball could roll off the green that didn't deserve to. Phil wants to win the US Open more than anything to achieve the career Grand Slam. His frustration boiled over and Phil hit his moving ball to make a point that the USGA is trying to make themselves and not the tournament the centerpiece. The Executive Director of the USGA - Mike Davis - is on the hot seat. The players don't like what has become of the US's national championship and Phil is the ring leader. And the USGA keeps messing up every year.
  8. Trade up for Porter
  9. I do find it funny. I'm sure the formerly employed hosts do as well. McNeil out indefinitely with a paralyzed vocal chord
  10. Some very weird dudes in that forum. Extremely bizarre. Really great. They have a 612 page thread devoted to Julie, the update anchor and weekend host. Odd site, but they still have some interesting posters there.
  11. Tiger with the highest recorded swingspeed on Tour this year today at 129 MPH. Short game looks really good. A lot of players bunched near the lead, but he’s got a great chance to win tomorrow.
  12. I don't think he was their top rated CB. He had the top rated single game of any CB (against Cincinnati), but looks like he was 22nd overall. https://www.profootballfocus.com/nfl/players/kyle-fuller/8649 Also, yes there are plenty of good CBs. Malcolm Butler, Bashaud Breeland, Trumaine Johnson, and EJ Gaines, who are all similar level CBs last year. But I'd take Fuller over all of them due to age (slightly younger than all except a week older than Gaines) and we already know his fit in this defense unlike the others. I also love this CB class in the top 60 picks so I'd certainly be willing to double up at the position, with or without Fuller. That being said, Fuller will be back on a franchise tag. Could have sworn Mully said Fuller was the top-rated CB last year
  13. Fuller not expected to sign a long-term deal. Don’t know if that’s Kyle’s choice or the Bears’. Had an up and down career, but PFF’s top-rated CB last year. Any good FAs if they don’t franchise tag him?
  14. White Sox to WGN 720
  15. Never seen an in-season switch like this before
  16. 670 trying to land the Bulls. Sox to either 1000 or 720. My, how WGN Radio has fallen. http://www.robertfeder.com/2018/01/30/robservations-bulls-shooting-land-score/
  17. Bulls don't draw good TV numbers?
  18. Parent company of WLS 890 wants out of umprofitable Sox and Bulls radio contracts. ““As part of our operational turnaround, we have been focused on taking proactive steps to address unprofitable areas of our business,” Cumulus Chief Executive and President Mary G. Berner said in a statement. “We are taking this action because the economic terms of these legacy contracts guarantee that we lose money and, as such, continuing them in their current form is not in Cumulus’ best interests. … We will continue to take the necessary steps to strengthen our competitiveness and position Cumulus for continued profitability.”” http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/breaking/ct-spt-white-sox-bulls-radio-contracts-20180119-story.html
  19. If DeFilippo gets the job and Fangio is gone, who is a good DC candidate? Rank the best openings that DeFilippo could choose: Lions, Bears, Colts.
  20. Why? Harbaugh is a rah-rah college coach whose shtick wears thin on professionals. He wears thin, but he gets results. Three straight NFC Championship games with the 49ers.
  21. Yeah, probably not happening, but if Harbaugh is on their radar, it’s the only way I see that occuring
  22. I would love for Fangio to stay with the Bears, but apart from the Bears bringing in Jim Harbaugh (I'd throw $10 million per year and an ownership stake at him), he's pretty much out?
  23. Forgot to mention him. Has done wonders in Philly with Wentz, but has little play calling experience. Only called plays last year in Cleveland and one year at San Jose State.
  24. What offensive coaching prospects are at the top of the list? Pat Shurmur, Jim Harbaugh, Josh McDaniels, Pete Carmichael, Matt LaFleur, and throw in Dave Toub as a ST candidate. Hub was saying that there's new rules for coaches who are in the playoffs. I think he said you can hire a coach now who is still coaching with his current team or something like that instead of interviewing him and waiting for his team to lose.
  25. Vance Joseph is staying according to Elway
