  1. Amazing what getting rid of Gar Forman can do for a team
  2. This was his only good play as a Bull
  3. 4-0! Bulls had some serious sphincter tightness there, but they pulled it out.
  4. Everyone was clamoring for an experienced backup QB last year to compete with Mitch, hence Foles. Graham was your leading TD catcher last year and great in the red zone. Cohen’s hurt, how is that Pace’s fault? Leno sucked last year and Jenkins was drafted. Is Peters any worse than Leno? Fuller just got benched in Denver. Eddie Jackson decided to be a wuss and give up on any play that’s not a ball thrown at him. I think the Bears are drafting ok as far as the oline goes. They haven’t spent money on stud FAs, but you can argue they usually don’t get to free agency. Pace sucks and has to go, but I don’t think the ones you mentioned are the biggest issues. The Bears are still recovering from drafting Mitch and a lack of spending on the offense are the bigger issues.
  5. Nagy is a bad coach, but he’s been to the playoffs twice. Nowhere near the worst coach in the league or worst in franchise history.
  6. I’ve never wanted to pull Fields just because he was playing poorly, but he’s going to get hurt with this line and his lack of pocket awareness
  7. This game is about to be over
  8. What teams are clearly better? Only Milwaukee and the Nets.
  9. Obviously a much different team this year, but this team is so much better and more fun to watch
  10. I’m not a Packers fan. Never said I was. I grew up in the Chicago area and live here and have been a Bears fam my entire life. I’m tired of the Bears ownership, not the team. Whoops. My apologies I thought you were a Packers fan for some reason. Take all that back except the explanation of the Fields quote. Drives me nuts how often this gets misconstrued as some boasting by Fields Preseason or not, Bears first team D or not, it’s not a good look to say the NFL game looks slow or slowed down before you take a regular season snap. I’m hopeful for Fields, but his main issue right now is that the physical and mental aspects of the game are too much for him until he gets experience and adapts. And he will.
  11. I don’t jump in the threads just to pile on during losses. Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at an organization that endures mediocrity. Fields is slow to process the NFL game. It will come, but he should talk about the speed of the NFL game once he wins games using his athletic ability. Criticizing our organization after your team beat us for the 1000th time in a row is even less appreciated. These threads are not for you guys And again his comment about the speed of the game was comparing the speed of the first preseason opponent to the bears defense he was playing against in practice. He was complimenting our defense and not saying anything cocky about how awesome he is. I’m not a Packers fan. Never said I was. I grew up in the Chicago area and live here and have been a Bears fam my entire life. I’m tired of the Bears ownership, not the team.
  12. Mully on 670 postgame talking about how much the McCaskeys hate losing to the Packers and how they’ll note this when it comes to bringing back Nagy and Pace. Whatever. They brought them back after last year’s SNF debacle.
  13. “I thought NFL defensive players would have been faster” says the QB brought down like 10 times this year because Fields thought he was faster than them That’s not what he said and what he did say was taken horribly out of context. But I guess people will just keep on misquoting that forever. Also you aren’t allowed to pile onto the post game misery I don’t jump in the threads just to pile on during losses. Don’t be mad at me. Be mad at an organization that endures mediocrity. Fields is slow to process the NFL game. It will come, but he should talk about the speed of the NFL game once he wins games using his athletic ability.

  15. It’s been a few years. He has no pride as a football player. He’d be gone if he didn’t have a big contract. Nagy punted two drives ago in GB territory. That was the game. Yes, had they gone for it, probably would have made it, and probably would have had an excellent chance at putting up another TD. Punting on your opponent’s side of the field down 10 in the 4th quarter dumb
  16. He’s been such a terrible tackler this year. Earlier he let Aaron Jones drag him for 10 extra yards because he was trying to rip the ball away from him. It’s been a few years. He has no pride as a football player. He’d be gone if he didn’t have a big contract. Nagy punted two drives ago in GB territory. That was the game.
  17. Has anyone heard anything about Borom? I think he had a high ankle sprain, which could be quite a while, maybe 6 weeks? Jenkins is likely out all season still, I don't think there's been any update on him and not expecting anything. Biggs said he wouldn’t be taken off injured reserve this week because they usually do it ahead of the current week’s practices and he’s not practicing. Next week looks probable. Any updates on Jenkins or Cohen?
  18. Did management tell him to do this or he’s gone? No reason to say Dalton is QB1 when healthy and then change your mind on Wednesday.
  19. Seems like the Bears knew Fields would start all week last week, but Nagy wanted to keep it under wraps thus why it wasn't announced until Saturday. This week with Dalton closer to returning, he needs to have his starter named by Wednesday for game planning purposes Saying Dalton is QB1 when healthy is an immediate fireable offense
  20. Eddie Goldman was active, but I didn’t see him in the box score. Did he get any snaps?
  21. I give Nagy credit for keeping the team together and not folding after the losing streak last year. He has some good coachiness. The players play hard for him. I get it, he was brought it to fix the offense and he has failed at that. It’s a shot at your pride when Lazor is clearly better at doing what you were called in to do. It’s beneficial for the team for Nagy to not be calling plays. Yes, be involved in putting the game plan together. But for the sake of the team, just publicly admit that Lazor is the man on Sundays. This is exactly it. I’ve commented before on Nagy’s leadership abilities. The team mostly seems to like him and play hard for him. But the fact that he’s so hung up on playcalling to the point where he was willing to go down with the ship says a lot about his ego and his ability to make the best decisions for the team. If he steps away from playcalling completely I’m willing to have at least a little patience with him. He’s going to be calling games again before too long. Nothing Nagy has done so far would say otherwise.
  22. His pride is taking a huge hit. Looks like Fields is going to start next week, but Nagy wouldn’t commit. What a horsefeathering weirdo. Seriously, does he think being the offensive play caller is the only way to be a successful coach? Does he know Belichick doesn’t call plays on offense or defense or several other well regarded coaches? I give Nagy credit for keeping the team together and not folding after the losing streak last year. He has some good coachiness. The players play hard for him. I get it, he was brought it to fix the offense and he has failed at that. It’s a shot at your pride when Lazor is clearly better at doing what you were called in to do.
