  1. A GM who’s never picked players or negotiated contracts before, a head coach who’s never been in charge before, and an offensive coordinator who’s never called plays in the NFL before. Hope this works!
  2. Tampering I guess. And yet only 0.5 games out of the East lead.
  3. Well the Bulls hadn’t had a player get further injured while trying to recover from another injury…until today. Derrick Jones Jr broke his right index finger while working out. Out 6-8 more weeks. The Bulls’ team surgeon is getting paid this year!
  4. Young up and coming Ryan Poles better be better than young up and coming Ryan Pace
  5. Dan Quinn getting a second interview is terrible. McCaskey and Polian are clueless to think he’s head coaching material again.
  6. Both teams should get the ball at midfield and go from there
  7. Bills should not have kicked deep for the final drive
  8. Josh Allen is incredible. Bulldozing opponents on the run, absolute canon of an arm.
  9. Williams out 3-4 months, Ball out 2 months, Caruso out 3 months (two stints), Green out 3 weeks, Jones Jr (1-2 months), Lavine out 2 weeks, plus everyone out 1-2 weeks with covid. We are only halfway through the season. This is unlike any other year. Here is an article written 5 years ago about how much worse than any other team the Bulls are at keeping players healthy. I’m not sure how many games lost our injuries are, even removing COVID from it, but either way my point stands. The Bulls over the last decade are constantly dealing with ridiculous amounts of injuries compared to every other NBA team https://www.blogabull.com/2016/4/7/11321660/chicago-bulls-injury-history-training-staff-derrick-rose The Bulls might be more injured than other teams, but my point was that this year’s injuries are worse than other years
  10. Not like this I dunno...we've had some massive injury issues in the past. It feels a lot like the season Rose tore his ACL. He couldn't stay on the court before the ACL, a large chunk of the role players were in and out of the lineup with constant injuries, etc. Or the playoff series against the Nets when most of the team was out and Nate Robinson was puking in buckets on the sideline because he needed to play (not to mention that unnecessary botched spinal tap for Deng). And maybe the other seasons haven't been as bad but our key players always seem to miss significant chunks of the season. I don't know if Lauri ever played more than 60 games for the Bulls, Butler would always seemingly miss 15-20 games a year, Lavine was missed significant time, including a COVID stretch that probably cost us the play-in last year. Noah's career was cut short in his prime due to degrading knees. Gasol missed the last half of the 2nd most important playoff series since MJ. Going back far but Jason Williams and his motorcycle... - Williams out 3-4 months, Ball out 2 months, Caruso out 3 months (two stints), Green out 3 weeks, Jones Jr out 2 months, Lavine out 2 weeks, plus everyone out 1-2 weeks with covid. We are only halfway through the season. This is unlike any other year.
  11. Not like this
  12. Why did Vuj not get a shot up with Holiday on him? Hey, at least the Bulls weren’t blown out on ESPN again.
  13. My goodness the defense by Caruso
  14. I don't know how Caruso's shoulder isn't separated, but he's still in the game. Dirty foul and he landed right on his shoulder and bounced off the ground he hit the deck so hard.
  15. Now you can’t trade Coby for a PF even if you wanted to. Maybe it’s for the best assuming Patrick Williams comes back healthy.
  16. I don't think the FCC can do anything in this case. They don't regulate profanities on cable. People can file complaints, but the FCC will just toss them. I thought you can only say so much before 9 or 10 PM, then it’s more free reign
  17. Mac clarified that since Les was on Medicare, he meant life insurance
  18. “It’s a shame that this will likely be the first and last year of the show, though, as the Manning brothers can't seem to stop running afoul of the FCC.” https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2022/01/18/peyton-manning-curses-manningcast-espn-monday-night-football They’re really going to shut down the Manningcast because of a few swear words? Doubt it.
  19. Les Grobstein was found dead in his house. He was 69. Had a 50 year career in sports media. https://www.robertfeder.com/2022/01/17/les-grobstein-1952-2022/
  20. Is it common for an NFL team to hire a GM and a coach? Shouldn’t the GM pick the coach? What if the Bears hire a GM, aren’t set on the coach, and then the newly hired GM doesn’t like the new coach?
  21. From what I’ve read, that doesn’t make it any more or less likely to tear again Right, but two injuries on the same leg wouldn’t be good
  22. Zach’s left knee had the ACL go out in 2017.
  23. Didn’t look particularly bad. Got an offensive rebound, felt something, threw the ball away, and just walked straight to the locker room. The Bulls might lose by 70 tonight.
