  1. As of right now you have Kaplan and nobody else talking about it.
  2. DAVE KAPLAN WILL NOT BE DENIED HIS STORY
  3. Wisconsin/Duke is going to be the whitest game since they made Adolph Rupp hang up his hood.
  4. I'm sure Rush's GPA was 0.0. Makes sense. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Why would I be jealous? We've got a Helms too. We've got 2 Helms. [expletive].
  5. Sean Miller has definitely killed a man at some point in his life.

  7. I was thinking of Darrel Arthur, but I guess he just never graduated high school. Brandon Rush apparently had the 0.0 GPA (why he was told he wouldn't qualify at Illinois)
  8. His offensive line was out with him, but...ya know.
  9. Joking about what? Now I'm not trying to knock the progress Huntington's made, but going dumpster-diving for relievers to plug into the 25-man doesn't exactly bolster his case for GM immortality like some here make it seem. When the Pirates most optimistic goal for this season is to go 500, it's a very smart strategy. So then you agree with me: I suppose that works if your expectations are at Pirate levels. When you have an anemic payroll, it's really dumb to spend your precious few dollars on a guy who'll pitch 70 innings a year.
  10. I'd just fall down whenever I was near Pittman if I was an Iowa defender. It's really their only choice.
  11. Iowa's not even lighting it up from 3, shooting 37%.
  12. Payne gets screwed by yahoo as they call it a 42 foot jumper. I'm guessing that's the limit on distances they list.
  13. Yes they do, they even had them on their warmups at Midnight Madness. Five looks better than three to recruits. That's assuming Zah-vee-A can count that high. X is supposed to be a good student, I believe. Ok, is that guy with the 0.0 GPA in high school gone?

  16. Holy [expletive], Cully Payne just nailed a 70 footer to tie it up at half time against Texas.
  17. That's about it. They smoked Oklahoma St. but who cares? TCU has the better resume IMO. If you squint a little, you could probably put them ahead of Florida. To be fair, it looks like every computer ranking(Sagarin isn't loading right now) has them 4th or worse.

  19. The Big Ten splits the bowl money up. I just assumed every conference did this.
  20. Doesn't Kansas claim 5 championships due to Helms?
  21. Well yeah, they've got way too much talent to play like that. I wouldn't be surprised if they're a little Jekyl and Hyde based on whether or not their opponents can handle their pressure D. They should run roughshod over the SEC though.
  22. I don't know that much about Purdue, but Tennessee has been shooting lights out from outside so far - only 51% from inside the arc, but 47% from outside it. They also run the usual Bruce Pearl style - fast, heavy pressure and trying to force turnovers and get quick shots. I haven't seen much from them this year, but from listening on the radio and from talk around the program, they're playing much faster than last year. Scotty Hopson has been the star so far, shooting 59% from the field and 63% beyond the arc. Tyler Smith and Cameron Tatum have been quite good from the field as well. No true point guard, though, (but Melvin Goins might become that) and the inside guys aren't huge. Anyone that only beats DePaul by 4 points can't be that good. Purdue should handle them. That was after demolishing two other teams by an average of 47.7 points. I don't know how good this Tennessee team will be – better than last year for sure, I think – but one tough game in the third game of the year isn't time to say they're not that good a team. Purdue could blow them out or Tennessee could win, but neither will be because they beat DePaul by 4 points. If they play like they did against DePaul, they'll lose by 90. That game was heinous.
  23. Or they think the Atlanta based bowl would pick the team based in that state?
  24. Penn State is a name program and Iowa isn't.
  25. Tony Dungy looking like an idiot saying he'd pull a Morninwheg.
