Burrell has negative value with that contract. When they could dump Johnson for nothing(they did) there's no need to trade his bad contract away to get something worse in return. -

I assume that that's just the "quick access" facilities for players and umps during the game. We should probably check with Roast to get the truth.

That has always baffled me, too. If I were an ML GM I'd stay far away from signing any FA who's done nothing until his contract year and then has a huge season. About 8 times out of 10 he's more of the bust than the superstar. Is that what you've found in your research?

Fulmer stayed on at UT as a lame duck coach from early November on. He and his staff still recruited and kept most of the committed players. It can work, it's just a bit of an odd situation. Fulmer wasn't leaving to take a better job.

Mota was in the Dominican summer league. 22 is really old for that league. Average age of 18.8 for pitchers according to BR. It's really hard to find much of anything in the AAA portion(Somewhere around 76 of the players in your franchise are protected(including the 40 man roster)

Your plan puts Boise St. in Division 2. And you can't just force teams to be in conferences/go down a division. We all can agree, however that it would have been best for Bama and Texas to lose.

That's absurd. No it's not. Your move. You're implying that what happens on the field has nothing to do with who is crowned champion. That's completely false. It's far from a perfect system, but actual on-field results are still the overwhelming factor in who's crowned champ.

That would be fine though. Would you want a coach on his way to another program(in the same recruiting grounds) out "recruiting" for you for 6 weeks? If a program didn't want that coach around, they could let him go ahead and go. It's the one thing I'll ever give credit to Michigan, dumping Frieder after he said he was on his way out.

It clearly isn't, which is insane. I have the same feeling I had before Hendry signed J. Jones. I mean, Pods just fits right into Hendry's MO. Left handed, CFer, "lead-off" hitter, "fast", etc... I'm hoping the seemingly recent fascination with RBI (re: Bradley) will steer him away from Podsednik. Shoulda put CF in quotes too.

I'm kinda rooting for Indiana in this game. It's a weird feeling. Maybe you'll feel better if you just consider it rooting against UK rather than rooting for IU. Thanks, that's much better.
