Indeed. It's hard to fault the kid though. His game fits the Badger system, and Wisconsin is a far better situation to step into. I guess the next best player in Iowa would be Oglesby? Who Iowa has yet to offer despite his all but begging for one.

The Cubs are still on my TV, more than 150 times a year because I HAVE DIRECTV i honestly don't understand why anyone who can get it doesn't. Because I don't feel like paying $180 to watch maybe half the games. There's so many on during the day that it's hard to justify paying that much for really so few games. My cable bill is way too high already. BUT MAN YOU REALLY NEED TO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY YOU DONT HAVE AND GET IT EVEN AS JUST A STATUS SYMBOL TO TELL EVERYONE ON THE INTERNET HOW COOL YOU ARE!!! ???

Same here. People got really excited because Redick had some decent play but I'd definitely rather have Brewer. It's just so weird to have 3 free agents from the same team end up with the same team. While pretty much true, remember that Brewer was traded to Memphis last season. And then like immediately got hurt.

I think you're underselling Korver's role slightly. I'd expect 25 mins/game

Yeah, he's not done much though. He's 25 and has pitched well in the minors and poorly in the majors (in short stints). Not a bust yet, but not a guy to get real excited about either. but the point is, he was a valuable commodity when traded. A very valuable one (just like Salty). At minimum, the Braves gave up 2 highly touted prospects and 2 different guys that turned out to be quality major leaguers (or maybe really good major leaguers). that's a lot. Feliz and Andrus were really good prospects at the time (4 & 5 according to Goldstein) Andrus was #65 overall (BA) pre-season and up to 19 by next season.
