    I agree 100%. I'll never understand people who tune out in September just because their team is eliminated. I gotta be honest. I'm Cubs fan more than a baseball fan. That's why. I don't watch teams outside of the Cubs very often at all, unless they somehow impact the Cubs chances. But even outside of that, 162 games is a long freaking haul if it ends up not mattering in the end. I have better, more enjoyable things I'd rather be doing than watching meaningless, bad baseball. Hope you weren't watching any godawful preseason NFL

    He went on to say he has had a couple blowups but what really hurt him is that he didn't pitch well for a year and a half. Can somebody tell me when this year and a half of not pitching well took place? Probably cause he only had 9 wins last year.

    Completely guessing: Foster, Bowie, Downs(although intuition tells me Garland). EDIT: Not even close. Well, Downs was close, but that's it. EDIT2: What's the threshold, 180 IP? I can only find 1 guy in 1998. These are the three I found with at least 179 that year: farnsworth: 184 IP (102.2 at Iowa, 81.1 at West Tenn) brian mcnichol: 179 IP at West Tenn phil norton: 186.1 IP (120.1 at West Tenn, 66 at Daytona) McNichol had 7 IP at Iowa.
