    And at that point you don't hesitate to walk away. Also, yes nuts, you can and should dream. Well I don't hesitate to walk away, but what if the Cubs are that stupid team. I really have a hard time seeing them not signing a 3 year deal for some reliever, I'd prefer it at least be for a guy that has a chance to be worth it, than having to hear drooling buffoons call the Score everyday for the next 3 years about how Wood's a [expletive].

    My only complaint is that there's still no consistent pattern of substitutions. I'm not worried about the end results until I see the lineups out there that are going to play when it counts.

    How about the fact that he was virtually untouchable as the Yankees 8th inning man down the stretch last season? He was very very lucky to put up the #s he did with the Yankees. His peripherals were just above average.

    A new bowl game, played on Jan. 1 in the Cotton Bowl Stadium. i see the teams participating in that game are: Big Ten No. 6 vs. Big 12 No. 7 (C-USA No. 7 if no Big Ten or Big 12, MAC is the second backup) sounds like a real dandy. PSU should really be concerned about that 6th win before they get snooty about their bowl matchup.

    TCU and UCF were the 2 teams I've heard are leading the way with mild interest in Temple and Villanova. Are they doing this as football only schools, or is that unwieldly basketball conference going to get even bigger?

    Favre should've killed himself once the Packers decided to go with Rodgers, that way he'd always be a Packer. Packers are the Cardinals fans of the NFL.

    Bray was named the starter today (which I'm glad for, since Simms has been such a whiny punk the past two games), and I don't think Tennessee gets a Bowl Game even if they get to 6-6. I am just guessing, but I think the SEC shakes out like this: Bama: MNC Game Auburn: Sugar South Carolina: Outback LSU: Capital One Arkansas: Cotton Florida: Gator Miss. State: Chick-Fil-A Georgia: Music City It's possible that a 6-6 Tennessee gets into the Liberty or Papa John's, but I'd be surprised. Come on Ron Zook Bowl
