    I'd settle for 2009. I'd settle for 2010 Adam Dunn. That's not how it works, man. Dunn is out of the Cubs budget, so Pena, Nick Johnson, et al., are now targets for Hendry. [expletive]. They could easily afford Dunn within the reduced budget if they wanted to. Yeah well you're living in a fantasy world where we don't need Jeff Nelson or Jesse Orosco to shore up the pen along with Doug Drabek eating innings in the rotation.

    Cody said that he would start recruiting players immediately and he mentioned Yogi by name. With IU needing another point guard by 2012 and at least 2 other players recruiting him it would seem like IU has everything lined up for Yogi. IU needs a point guard by 2010.

ESPN's rankings from a couple years ago put them 21st. 7th of current SEC teams Just looked at the list and I don't really think 16-20 compare to Auburn when it comes to recent success and recruiting buzz. I don't think Auburn measures up against Iowa, West Virginia, Va Tech, Oregon, or Boise if that's how you're going to judge it, but all of them are below Auburn. I don't see how winning 7-8 games a year the past 15 years and having "recruiting buzz"(??) makes one a Cadillac program

    I should point out the Big Ten is undervalued in those rankings because you get 3 points for a bowl + 3 more for a bowl win. The Big Ten used to be Rose Bowl or nothing.

I'd be interested to see that http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3849468 There's a separate "BCS-era" ranking which is insider, but according to wiki, Auburn is ranked 22nd in it.
