  1. I wouldn't put it past Belichik. This was his plan the whole time.
  2. Moss waived by the Vikings
  3. Either the Gator or Insight. Almost no chance they jump any of the top 4 teams. If the Big Ten gets two in the BCS that would move them up to the Gator. If PSU loses only one and finishes 8-4, 5-3 they could jump them also. If Illinois loses again the Texas Bowl would seem most likely. I don't see how Iowa finishes worse than 8-4, so even a perfect finish for Illinois would likely result in Iowa getting selected ahead of them. Right now, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan, and Penn State are fighting for: 2 Big Ten BCS bids - Gator, Insight, Texas, Dallas Football Classic 1 Big Ten BCS bid - Insight, Texas, Dallas Football Classic, Little Caesars There's not a huge difference between the Capital One Bowl (ESPN), Outback Bowl (ABC), and Gator Bowl (ESPN2). They're all on roughly at the same time and all feature matchups against SEC teams. Insight gets a late time slot on ESPN during the week and the Texas Bowl gets ESPN early evening during the week, as well. The one to avoid is the Dallas Football Classic, as that is stuck on ESPNU the same time as the Capital One, Outback, and Gator bowls. I'd like to play on January 1st, so I'd prefer Dallas to Texas or Insight Can't swing mid-week travel? It's not like you'd miss a basketball game. It's more of an event to go out a couple days in advance, do New Years in the town, then come back the 3rd. Flying out to Tempe or Houston on the 27th and farting around the next 3 days doesn't quite have the same appeal to me.

  5. Hahaha, driving at 3 AM should be illegal.
  6. As a Michigan fan, I don't care what bowl Michigan would play in if they do win another game and become bowl eligible. Those extra practices are invaluable to a young team like Michigan. I'd gladly watch Michigan play in the Motor City Bowl. If the Big Ten gets 2 BCS bids, there likely won't be any Big Ten team going to Detroit unless Indiana or Purdue pick up 2 more wins. With 2 BCS bids, the lowest bowl would be the Dallas Football Classic (New Years Day on ESPNU). It's not really realistic for PSU, UM, and one of IU or Purdue to get to 6 wins.
  7. Sean May played basketball at North Carolina and is now the worst player in the NBA :) :) :-s
  8. http://riskmanagement.nd.edu/assets/13357/aeriallift2007.pdf ND's policy on lift use.
  9. I'd bet my savings on Harris not going to IU
  10. Ashton went to Iowa didn't he? I know there's something about not being able to have alums recruiting for you. He got kicked out before he graduated, iirc. Doesn't matter.
  11. It would also make him much less valuable.

  13. I'm just shocked somebody was actually pulled over for going 6 over the limit
  14. And there's the triple double for Rondo. 24 assists on the night. We are all witnesses.
  15. They get our 2nd round + sandwich. Every team losing an A gets a sandwich + signing team's draft pick in order of ranking of all free agents signed by that team. Like say we signed Derrek Lee too. Washington gets our 2nd round + sandwich, Atlanta our 3rd + sandwich
  16. What kind? I have an alternate, maybe they run bigger? Maybe I'm more petite than I think.
  17. Don't get a size bigger for a hockey jersey. They're bigger than a normal shirt. I actually got a size smaller for mine.
  18. Yeah, but at least the Bulls aren't any good.
  19. This is just rocket's way of finding out when everyone's birthday is. Sandy Koufax motha f***a These lists work better for NBA when I get LBJ
  20. 3rd weekend IG
  21. you expected anything else? kansas has an army of gypsies and unearthly creatures from the 5th dimension at their beck and call. well, unless you guys know something I don't, he hasn't been cleared to play. He's been cleared academically. His amateurism is still being investigated. Sure would be nice if Tony Mitchell could be cleared academically. Maybe ricky clemons can tutor him. Maybe they can hire Darrel Arthur's teachers to review his grades.
  22. Joe Bertrand's probably relieved.
  23. I liked: better.
  24. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5733544 Gatens tore a tendon in his hand.
