  1. It was an accident in that he wasn't attempting to fracture his skull. Probably wasn't trying to hit him in the face period.
  2. Holy [expletive], Selfguy has Warren Carter as the leader of the team now. *stupid wall banging smiley*
  3. Yes In that case, they should obviously try to maximize their value, but they kind of have to get rid of him, don't they? He's obviously not coming back. They don't have to get rid of him if the best offer is a negative.
  4. New Jersey's owner does, which has to count for something. I just read it on the bottom line yesterday (out of context), but why wouldn't this just be posturing?
  5. incorrect, we'd have beaten you a second time for the championship. I wish that's how it would have all played out. Then Maybe Roy stays. Damn you Carmello, why couldn'y you just go pro out of high school? OH MY GOD STOP
  6. Does anyone think New Jersey is actually out of the running? Do people really think Denver's dumb enough to take on Deng's contract in return for Anthony?
  7. Yeah, I watched them go 100% against us. We were unfortunate enough to have the heathen knocking down 3s from the Nittany Lion logo with a hand in his face
  8. Fun, I don't have to listen to Stacey King! Re: Rose's defense: Thibodeaux's a wizard. He should run away with coach of the year
  9. There's a blast from the past. Wonder how his life has turned out. Was it a college or minor league game that he rearranged that guy's face in the on deck circle? College. Hit Anthony Molina in the face. I know he got drafted too, but I'm pretty sure he never got any higher than A ball, if he even got there.
  10. Oh and Go Texas Go
  11. Ted Hillary deserves at least half of last night's loss
  12. I kinda like them together just because you never know what crazy crap will come out. Though, that would probably be the case if you paired ANYONE with Knight. During the KU-Baylor game Knight said: No football team does a good job at pass defense. The Morris twins would be guards in the NBA Perry Jones wasn't a first rounder. He'd take the Morris twins over Perry Jones. Thomas Robinson is a better outside shooter than the Morris twins. That a 3 pointer to extend the lead to 20 with about 6 minutes left in the game was the biggest shot in the 2nd half. . Knight suggested Illinois miss a free throw on purpose with a 3 point lead and ~2 seconds left on the clock. Twice.
  13. Musberger's good as long as he's not paired with Knight. Then it's a 2 hour knob slobbing
  14. "As a competitor my entire life this is the hardest decision that I've ever faced, but it's not fair to me, my family or the Kansas City Royals that I attempt to pitch anymore. I came into this game as a starting pitcher and unfortunately my health, more accurately, my shoulder, has deteriorated to the point where surgery would be the only option and at this stage of my life I would prefer to call it a career rather than to attempt to pitch in relief for the final year of my contract." That's Meche statement... I bet MLBPA will file something saying Meche should get some of that $12 mil cuz of injury-related issues or some type of excuse... I mean isn't that how Albert Belle was getting his money even though he was retired cuz of his injury? I mean Bobby Bonilla this year is getting paid by the Mets every year for the next 25 years (by buying out last year of his contract). I mean that contract was guaranteed, but retiring void that contract somehow? I just can't see how the owner will get to keep that $12 mil to himself... albert belle was forced to retire because he had a degenerative hip that was only going to get worse. bobby bonilla has nothing to do with this; the mets decided to pay him later rather than pay him at the time the money was due (and bonilla agreed because it was a sweet deal for him). he didn't just walk away, the mets struck a deal with him that made him go away. meche has the option to get surgery and attempt to come back and pitch some more; he is choosing not to do that. Belle didn't "retire" until his contract was up.
  15. i'd vote to acquit. I'd award him damages.
  16. Why is this breaking news on Comcast Sports? I hope the felony was murdering David Kaplan
  17. If we had Koyie in '09, he wouldn't have let Milton Bradley poison the clubhouse.
  18. Except for Missouri
  19. Oklahoma State is pretty inoffensive now that Sutton's gone. And I can't understand wasting any time hating Nebraska or Colorado basketball Apparently you've never met any Oklahoma State fans. This works fine for me
  20. Seriously, there's a Strength and Conditioning coach of the year award?

  22. I'd like to jump in this debate, but I hate both of you.
  23. That last one they blew the whistle before he even initiated the contact. It was like they knew he was going to shoot the ball so they called the foul
