Not to be too obvious but the real crime here is that he achieved the necessary threshold. How low can you go before someone has lower? 12? Koyie had a negative WAR, it would be harder to achieve such a WAR with fewer ABs. According to Fangraphs, Koyie had the lowest WAR out of any catcher anywhere. ETA: baseballreference agrees. -
Unless Cashner's arm falls off in spring training Russell had better not be given that spot in the rotation. Even if Cashner's arm does fall off, Diamond/Silva/Gorz/JJax should probably be considered before Russell anyway. Lefty Cashner over Russell IMO

Pom has ISU 40, CU 64. Sag has ISU 55, CU 60. Big 12 is #3 in both systems, and is closer to #2 (Big East and Big Ten respectively) in each system than they are #4 (ACC)

Good to see that Michigan is ripping their own alumni in the press. Wow. Talk about taken completely out of context. I watched the Hoke introduction today when Brandon said all this, and it had nothing to do with Harbaugh or Miles. It was just a general statement made about the interview process he went through. Yeah I don't understand what's going on with him on offense. Actually none of our young players are developing like I would like to see. I'd say developing they aren't developing offensively like I'd like. DJ, Paul, Richmond, and Leonard all have taken steps defensively. It's a shame Jereme had to get injured, He was on the cusp of becoming the 2nd best player on the team.
