  1. I don't understand where anyone was coming from on this. I heard all the meatheads at the bar saying how he was scared so he begged out of the game. How in the [expletive] does that make any sense as it's coming out of your mouth? He's missed one game in his career and it was because he was getting murdered on the field the week before. But yeah, he's the type to beg out of a game with a minor injury.
  2. I'm shocked @thekapman isn't tearing into Cutler.
  3. That's the most popular way to classify an in-game injury. I pretty much always hear questionable or doubtful. When Maurkice Pouncey left the Steelers game and it was quite clear he wasn't coming back in (taken off on a cart and hobbling around on crutches) the Steelers announced he was questionable to return. Why they do that I don't know, but it's the popular thing to do. Pouncey's a [expletive]
  4. I luv my QB, he beat the crap out of Vick head 2 head.
  5. Not really funny ha ha
  6. If you're a professional athlete you have to avoid any contact with fans that doesn't involve them fawning over you at a bar. Sports fans are the dumbest people in the world, and football fans are probably the dumbest of all the sports. If you're listening to what these buffoons are saying on the radio or message boards or whatever, then you're a lost cause.
  7. Ha ha, see, I knew if I didn't qualify that statment someone would post what you posted. Someone posted it anyway . . . Creek was a quality player though, on a team with precious few. I couldn't have possibly been more sarcastic.
  8. His hometown has a stupid name
  9. Like when Cutler was sitting next to him on the bench, playbook in hand pointing things out? I never saw that. Not saying it didn't happen, but when they had a long shot of Hanie staring at Polaroids on the bench, Cutler was right next to staring into space like he had another concussion. And I remember hearing them say he was questionable to return. If the Bears are releasing that info, then they need to change their procedures for that. That only helps fuel the fire that he is quitting on the team. You shouldn't change your policy on injuries based on how stupid shitheads are going to react. Really that's in the word filter? Dammit

  11. Hey guys, it's not IU's fault they're bad, they just lost Michael Jordan.
  12. Urlacher made public comments about Cutler that were fairly negative in training camp last year IIRC.
  13. Not even in retrospect. The Bears would've won that game if Urlacher takes that the distance. Our offense wasn't the same after the INT and obviously, that's a credit to the Bears defense. Urlacher houses that, it's a 1 possession game and we're more likely to stick with Collins.
  14. I'd heard IU student support had fallen off. They're more worried about holding up those stupid heads and wearing dumbass costumes than cheering on a really crappy product.
  15. Don't let your hatred for Da Bum cloud your judgment. It clouds everything in my life. ETA: But seriously, you could take a survey for worst student sections and every team is going to name the teams they hate most, and Purdue.
  16. I don't know why I bother with you anymore, but there's a pretty sizable difference with being angry about your current contract status at the tail end of a long-term contract when your current team shows little interest in re-upping vs. being angry about the 1 year contract you just signed 3 months prior. As I said the situations aren't comparable at all. You said yourself that Manny's behavior is bizarre, he may go in the tank because the sun is too bright in Tampa. Maybe he'll decide he doesn't like the colors on the uniform anymore.
  17. It's pretty much a consensus among Big Ten fans that you pukes are the worst. Not the worst as in, "oh man I don't want to play there, they're so intense!!"; Worst as in, shut the [expletive] up you know-nothing fucks
  18. I hope Rothlisberger rapes them. By which I mean has forcible sex with them.
  19. Weirdo. I'm not touching Cleveland obviously, New Jersey is just about on pace.
  20. What? Why would how much he's making have anything to do with his motivation? His history seems to indicate the amount he gets paid means a lot to him since he basically quit on the Red Sox and forced them to trade him when they wouldn't agree to give him the contract he thought he was worth. Those aren't really similar situations
  21. That game this morning was shameful. Why in the [expletive] is that fat load getting protected?
  22. What? Why would how much he's making have anything to do with his motivation?
  23. Easy Ron Guenther, don't diss Warren. Warren was a lot better basketball player than Chester Frazier, tell me you don't think Chester Frazier was in his league? If you do you might want to notice how Warren is having a nice career overseas making millions, meanwhile Chester isn't. And what's funnier, me wanting Bill Self back, or you pretending like he isn't a great coach? You didn't say Carter and McBride were the best players on the team, you said they were the leaders. Frazier was pretty unquestionably the leader from his sophomore-senior season, and it's pretty sad that you're throwing him under the bus to fit your agenda. Of course if you were talking strictly what they did on the court, Pruitt was probably better than McBride and Carter but he was recruited by Weber so you'll ignore that as well. WHEN HAVE I EVER PRETENDED SELF COULDN'T COACH??? Of course I do remember you intimating Self couldn't coach on several occassions. I and everyone else is just [expletive] sick of this argument where Illinois has a loss and you come in pining for your ex, and you yell at us for being kool aid drinkers, and we say the past 4 years have sucked, and you cite the same stats, and we say yeah, we know, and you talk about Jerrance, and we say ok, and you mention Eric Gordon, and we're like huh, and you talk about the marker on his face, and we tune you out, and you mention the 2003 National Title game, AND SUHGOUSHOUGPHSDOUGSHHOFU JUST SHUT THE [expletive] UP
