    UCLA is probably getting restless with Howland. Self might try his hand in the NBA. K and Roy are getting old. You mentioned UConn. Calipari is gonna get hit by the NCAA some day. EDIT: More to the point, if you're convinced that Stevens isn't the exception to the rule that everyone moves up, then why didn't he do so last year? Like anybody knew about Brad Stevens last year.

    Worth every penny, IMO. Thank you Mr. Hendry. Mike Quade so far is turning out to be everything I expected Lou to be when he got here, before it was completely obvious that he just didn't give a crap anymore. Under Quade it seems like the best players will play, regardless of contract or service time, and he won't take any crap from his players. That's how it ought to be. I look forward to his tenure. Until June when Soriano is batting .150 with 2 HR and there's still a Colvin/Byrd/Fuku platoon in CF/RF. Let's be honest here, there are certain contracts that supercede the manager. Silva's wasn't one of those. Why is Soriano hitting 150 with 2 HRs?

    Sounds like Sports Corner to me tfarks. The one thing I'd warn you about is that you may hear the roar of the crowd before you get to watch it on TV. I wouldn't say you have to get their absurdly early, because I imagine a lot of people sitting there at 9 AM will be going to the game. You'll just have to be that guy who hovers around a table once they get their check.

    I just watched bleacher seats sell out. This is crazy how many levels of seats are still available. Just pulled up 2 about 12 rows behind home plate.
