  1. Where's the weirdo loner living in a cabin blowing up media sources when you need him.
  2. I feel like we have success against pitchers who perform well, that really shouldn't be. We tag Humber for 5 runs, and Men in Blue posts 9 image related posts during the game thread.
  3. Height: 4'4" Did someone cut off his legs? Rhinoplasty, half his height was located there somehow.
  4. I said bad moves. Right, point being he's made good moves that have gone bad due to unforseen circumstances. (Dunn turning into Ozzie Timmons)
  5. I wish we had a converted catcher on our pitching staff
  6. Sorry I can't read text. MORE PICTURES PLEASE
  7. Auditioning someone else worked out swimmingly last year.
  8. Jim Delaney's kind of a dick. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/ct-spt-0701-big-ten-nebraska--20110701,0,5568175.story
  9. Was just about to ask why Barney is still hitting #2
  10. Look if we leave Castro at SS, then where the hell is Izturis going to play?
  11. What exactly is your point here? That because one really really shitty baseball player had a good season, that every really shitty baseball player can do it? The fact that McGehee lucked into a good season should have zero effect on what we do with similar non-prospects.
  12. Might as well hope they move them to Pluto.
  13. I assumed self-immolation after the 2015 non-tendering of Tony Campana.
  14. I'm sure we'll find out next year when he's raking for the Brewers as Prince Fielder's replacement, a la Casey McGehee. You're right, LaHair would probably put up an OPS just under 600. McGehee OPSed .859 for MIL the year after the Cubs let him go. But I bet you knew that already. Oh, is that what he's doing now?
  15. Ideally, I'd buyout 2 years of Soto's free agency this offseason. Something like 4/27, but I'm not sure that's reasonable.
  16. Eh, not enough to get MLB to seize it. I'm really looking forward to these proceedings. I hope an agreement isn't reached, should be fun.

  18. I agree. I've never been a fan of creating one hole to fill another. It's one thing to move players who are coming to the end of their deals or are blocking decent players or ones that are overvalued due to the position they play (relievers)...it's another to just blindly say that "everyone can go." I never understand people who automatically assume that's a good move. It's basically saying, "yeah, this garbage season we're watching right now? I want to see that for the next 5+ years." Yeah but think of how competitive we'll be in 5 years when we're paying Castro 22M/Y and everyone starts hating him because his skin is darker than Dave Kaplan's. (Just joking, Kaplan better have been killed by then.)
  19. I'd imagine Davis's release had a lot more to do with his pathetic performance vs. Lopez's somewhat not awful performance and the need for only one terrible starter going forward rather than his reaching exactly 10 years.
