    How about Geo Soto too? Hm... no thanks? He's 29 years old and he isn't good behind the plate or at the plate. He hit .202 with RISP last year in 114 at-bats. Theo Epstein sure as heck wouldn't care about the last stat. You're an importer. And the first 2 aren't true...

    The sad thing was I was pleasantly surprised, thinking he somehow knew wtf he was talking about when he said Epstein would bring a philosophical change to the Cubs that is much needed until he said that. Guess he meant a philosophy of "winning." Celebrity fans are for the most part [expletive] awful. Posnanski had a piece about the Cubs and mentioned Joe Mantegna playing up the woe is me the Cubs are cursed schtick. I want to headbutt him.

    If you don't know why da Bum was banned, I don't know what to tell you. You could tell me why he was banned was it just his general body of work that did it? it's taken a while but i’ve been able to piece together a rough characterization based on random references, links to his articles and the MFer windermere sticky.     the self-imposed sanctions are a tad harsh. if the infractions were any greater, IU might have had to force itself to buy the NCAA a coke. Apparently there were 3,041 reported secondary violations last year overall. Unfortunately, this one being committed with Harris is going to make it more of a story. And less than half were committed by Indiana
