    My personal favorite Gammons moment was when he came on BBTN at the trade deadline in 2004 and categorically said Nomar was not going to be traded, less than an hour before it was announced that he was. my favorite was when he went on espnnews and said that nomar was going nowhere 5 min after the deadline, just as the cubs/red sox trade news came across the bottom of the screen As I said earlier, nothing matches him nearly in tears because Nick Swisher struck out Gabe Kapler. IN 10 YEARS NOBODY WILL KNOW WHO NICK SWISHER IS AND EVERYONE WILL STILL LOVE GABE!!!
