  1. I wonder how Bud would go about choosing fair compensation in terms of players. How much knowledge can he really have about the Cubs minor league system. I wouldn't be shocked if it's him making the call that it comes down to cash. Which would be [expletive] incredible btw.
  2. OMGOMGOMG This is the end all, be all of Freudian slips. You chink so?
  3. Loving this
  4. Take heed, carpets.
  5. Yeah yeah, and one of the truly abysmal teams in the league just played you guys to within a touchdown! :) I think there is definitely a chance we'll meet again in the NFC Champ. Certainly matched up very well when we played each other. The Vikings have been in every game except the Bears game. So you did just as well as everyone else. Give them the trophy now.
  6. PLUS ALL OF LEE'S DOUBLES IN MIAMI WILL TURN INTO HRS IN WRIGLEY
  7. THIS NEVER WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF WE KEPT TRAVIS GARCIA
  8. lol, perrault used to be drive time radio host in des moines. he's a douche. I asked him if Jen Royle was a tranny, he retweeted it to call my girlfriend a troll and then started following me...
  9. It's not an either/or. I'd rather both be shot into the sun.
  10. Seriously what an arrogant dumbass
  11. Because I believe he's already started his decline, stat-wise. I just don't think he's worth it. I don't think he wants a team-friendly deal. I still believe he wants top dollar and feels he can get it elsewhere. Sure it will be tough to match his historic power and production, but is it really worth it in the short term? Historic as in 2011? He finished the year as one of the best offensive 3B in the game. I've argued in favor of letting him go, getting a comp pick and investing those millions elsewhere. But I'm not "definitely" against having him come back. I can certainly see scenarios where I'd be thrilled to have him on the team for 2012. No historically he's hit between 20-30 HRs career since coming to the Cubs, but I still feel he's not worth the risk. Now would I piss and moan if he was back for '12? No, because he's not the only hole/problem on the team. There are more pressing things to address. I would just prefer if he left at this point. Umm yeah, Ramirez wasn't a hole/problem.
  12. The question is if Cherington believes stuff like that. If he doesn't he'll give in when the threat of arbitration comes closer.
  13. only a 58 harder. On 3rd down. With 41 seconds left. And Illinois having no timeouts.
  14. WARD JUST ASKED IF PURDUE SHOULD KICK A FIELD GOAL
  15. Who is this dumb [expletive] in the booth? Yeah, Purdue better be worried about getting their 1 minute offense out there. How else could they burn up 14 seconds in 4 plays>??
  16. Sorry for doubting you Ron, we're now on play 13.
  17. Well the worst next to whoever this color guy is.
  18. Purdue didn't even recover the damn ball in bounds. Oh and Pam Ward is the [expletive] worst.
  19. Utter incompetence. You let the entire timeout run its course, and then when we go to snap you blow the whistle.
  20. Nice effort AJ
  21. How about another 12 play drive.
  22. They have the best of each in the division.
