Not counting Cubit, Koenig, and Smith getting promoted to interim when the head coach got fired.

I might be wrong here but I can't remember the last coordinator to become a HC from IL, especially a power 5. Directly a power 5, who knows. Locksley at Maryland was OC under Zook, but obviously had several steps in between, first one being head coach at New Mexico to the tune of a 2-26 record.

They could easily take that kind of hit if they needed to; other big market teams do it. People bitched and moaned about Heyward's contract for the past 6 years, so I guess....those people? And another long-term dud contract just gives Hoyer/Ricketts another excuse never to spend money again Shouldnt sign a long-term contract because in the future it could scare them from signing the long-term contract we’re not signing now. -

The Vikings could easily have nothing to play for. Eagles and Cowboys have the tiebreak over Minnesota, and while SF has the tiebreaker (1 game back), they're starting Brock Purdy. -

I started Tyler Boyd instead of DJ Chark and now need 25 points from the Pats D to make the playoffs rather than 6. Start Chark and Pacheco instead of Boyd and Homer and I've already won.

It’s early so the numbers can be screwy, but Louisville is 361 out of 363 in NET. They have failed to cover a spread all season. Their next game is against 1-9 FSU which has to be a record for futility between two major conference teams

Down to 11 now. They're not favored in an individual game on KenPom until December 14th vs Western Kentucky, though in sum numbers say they win 1 of the next 4. Cal is in a similar position at 0-5 with their next favored game on Dec 7 against Eastern Washington
