I came here to make this basic post after I saw they tied for the lead in the AL East tonight with a 12-0 victory and were still -19 runs. That's got to be annoying for Yankees fans, but screw Yankees fans. Before Saturday, they had won 13 consecutive one run games. ~1 in 10,000 shot.

If it's no big deal, Sumlin should just suspend them for Florida b/c it's the first game instead of coming up with stupid excuses. I agree. I would have held them out of the Florida game but it's not my decision to make. I also think it's not nearly as big of a deal as you guys want to make it. Then again you're probably just trying to get me riled up. Either way, I don't really give a [expletive]. It's not like we're going to win more than 6-7 games this year anyway. That'd be a decent season for a team making the jump up to FBS.

It was absolutely the correct call. It was a steal attempt that Castro couldn't pick out of the dirt, Barney ran it down and threw it right to Valbuena's glove. (It was almost a perfect throw, got it there on a fly, but led him to the bag) He just flat missed the catch.

ESPN's box score listed errors by Samardzija, Castillo, and Valbuena then listed somebody as scoring on an error by Barney. I was so confused. The error on Valbuena was originally charged to Barney. They corrected it the next half inning.
