See my above post. If it's the difference between, say, the 2nd overall pick and the 5th overall pick, then I start to get cranky. But it's likely not. So enjoy some [expletive] wins. I am enjoying the wins and the better performances by guys. But there's only a 4 game difference in the L column between us at #2 and the Twins at #5 right now, as Kyle pointed out there's a pretty big difference historically between the overall #2 picks and overall #5 picks. We have 5 games left against the [expletive] Astros, so I'd say there's a decent chance we slide down a few spots if we keep playing like this given the competition and going all the way to #5 isn't all that unlikely. A 4 win difference over the average career of a player that is less than 50% to even become an MLB regular is not very much at all. Besides those extra 4 wins would just cost us draft budget anyway. -

I won't say it's impossible that the trio above could provide league-average production. But sub-replacement seems way more likely to me. Maybe we can re-acquire Ryan Flaherty and Jeff Baker -

I came here to make this basic post after I saw they tied for the lead in the AL East tonight with a 12-0 victory and were still -19 runs. That's got to be annoying for Yankees fans, but screw Yankees fans. Before Saturday, they had won 13 consecutive one run games. ~1 in 10,000 shot.

If it's no big deal, Sumlin should just suspend them for Florida b/c it's the first game instead of coming up with stupid excuses. I agree. I would have held them out of the Florida game but it's not my decision to make. I also think it's not nearly as big of a deal as you guys want to make it. Then again you're probably just trying to get me riled up. Either way, I don't really give a [expletive]. It's not like we're going to win more than 6-7 games this year anyway. That'd be a decent season for a team making the jump up to FBS.
