  1. Where oh where have you gone Mark Kanges
  2. Wait. I thought you were a Rice fan?
  3. Unless you're signing 10 guys to identically backloaded contracts, timing shouldn't matter. Oh, you're paying an older Choo too much, well when you sign somebody in 2016 you backload his deal.
  4. I wonder what kind of money he'll get. In 2014-2015 when he's a free agent? Man his agent needs to be so fired.
  5. Are you referencing games from the 90s to prove why it's better to play in a hostile environment on the road rather than a tepid environment at home?
  6. Didn't he like randomly pick some stocks in the middle of a bull market and the resulting gains convinced him (and others) that he was some sort of capitalist guru? Others include Jim Cramer. My recollection was that he subscribed to some analyst's commentary, and just used his picks as his own.
  7. Fixed Now make Derwood not pluralize with an apostrophe
  8. If I didn't already like Notre Dame, I would because of weirdos like you If its weird to dislike a school and fan base with their heads that far up their own asses I don't want to be straight. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m5wkdjN51R1rtfd8eo1_400.jpg

  10. It appears as if its just a claim and we let him go for the savings in money. The Nats claiming him was odd, my guess is they are playing our money shortage against us and have him back on waivers to try and legit trade him in the hopes someone sees value at 6.5 next year. To us, the monetary savings must have meant more than the shot at getting a C+ type prospect over the offseason. Then wouldn't that just be called a waiver pickup, as opposed to a trade for a PTBNL? I honestly don't know how that works. Muskat mentioned a PTBNL or cash considerations, so maybe it is just a claim. If it's just a claim there wouldn't be cash considerations either.
  11. Wasn't that going to be the situation with the Marmol-Haren trade?
  12. not what you're talking about, but i like this throw a lot (and features michael barrett!) found it! this one features pedro on the mound, and todd hundley (lol) getting gunned down at home. http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=20190423 Not sure why, but it makes me irrationally angry that there is a Washington Nationals tag on that video.
  13. Luckily we have 2 more years of team control on him.
  14. Still doesn't explain why they'd give up even a PTBNL
  15. Hopefully we non-tender Schierholtz if we can't find a taker for him this offseason.
  16. Are you replying to a future BacktoBanks post? Nobody's saying ugh Hoyer you idiot! they're saying Ricketts you cheap [expletive].
  17. Well thank God for that. I'm guessing this means the return sucks if they're picking up the entire contract.
  18. Thought it was Matt Williams.
  19. It's because the 6th inning of the Pirates game isn't over yet [expletive]
  20. I feel like most football players are too stupid to do that
  21. I hope Molina gets tetanus from that dumbass neck tattoo
