I improved my game record to 2-0 last night and had probably the most fun I've had at a Cubs game in a long time. (Every game I've gone to during pennant races they've lost) Last night's experience is why I scoff at people for complaining about peopel going to the games. Baseball games are fun. They're entertainment, and I'm not going to deprive myself of entertainment just because the team is horrible. It was little battles like getting to watch Scott Moore start at third, wearing a bag on my head as the Cubs sunk to a 7-0 hole, harassing J.D. Drew from the 4th inning on, (Stephen woulda caught that one JD!!)endless Les Walrond jokes, and yeah actually getting emotionally invested in an improbable 7 run comeback from a horrible team. I like baseball. EDIT: Oh and by rough estimate about 15,000 no shows last night. And by time the 10th rolled around, there were maybe about 12,000 left in the stands.
