I'd be shocked if OSU missed, but they haven't beaten anybody yet, so I guess it's possible they're not that good. What will probably happen is they'll wind up with like 5 9-12 seeds.

Wasn't the thought that he'd come to be superfriends battery with Lester? yeah but montero needs a platoon partner vs lefties and if they sign him i can't imagine it's all that likely they go 3 catchers... But if he's here to catch Lester, you can't arrange him to start vs. lefties can't he do both? Sure if you want Dave Ross starting 70 games.

I understand the bar for offensive production at catcher is extremely low, but isn't Castillo essentially a platoon catcher? Career .684 vs RHP and poor defensively (at a time when extra value is being placed on defense/framing at the catcher position). Catchers OPSd 689 last year. Hitters OPSd 698 vs. RHP

I'm just a known idiot, but I am aware that this crazy thing called "Spring Training" exists. "Hey Kris, go spend twenty minutes tracking down fly balls" on some high-sunned March morning. Boom, he now can handle left field. this post just makes me want a 20 minute video of you trying to catch fly balls on a sunny day. 1 minute of Kyle trying to catch fly balls, 19 minutes of him being loaded up and taken away in an ambulance.
