    hmmm....sending a message to Starlin or legit worried? The guy has played in a whopping 374 games in the last 5 seasons. Unless he costs a sack of chipped marbles this seems like a terrible idea. It doesn't materially change your point, but last 4 seasons. Hard to read between the lines too much, it could be any combination of sending a message to Starlin, worried about Starlin, telling Bryant to get an OF glove, Valbuena trade imminent, Boras trying to drum up an offer that exceeds 'sack of chipped marbles', etc. Considering Heyman just reported the Cubs among teams in on Scherzer this morning, I'd say that's pretty likely. And Heyman has been Boras's mouthpiece for some time.
