I wouldn't handle things as well as DeRosa has about this. It's not just the Roberts thing. They've been trying to replace him all offseason, most times with inferior players.

I'm shocked to say it, but reds44 is absolutely right. Lopez was a brutal defensive SS in Cinci, and he's only got worse since. -
If I could wail on this horse carcass for a bit, The SEC being awful happened.

I could tell you not to trust Oregon or Arizona (though I fell into the damn Arizona trap of falling for their unwarranted hype...third straight year). So I shouldn't have taken Oregon to the sweet 16 or Zona to the Elite 8 then? Both because of their crappy opponents more than anything.

I'd say the only way CPatt isn't the starting CF is if Dusty gets fired before opening day. Hopper probably starts against LHP, but I don't see Patterson not starting in CF for Dusty. One of the reports about Bruce being sent down mentioned that Dusty pressured Krivsky to sign CPatt. Once he hit so well in spring, there's no way Dusty isn't going to start him. My point was Dusty's likely 2nd in line is even worse than the 1st. -
I only have UConn to the sweet 16, so this isn't terrible, but I paid $12.50 for them in my auction pool, and probably my best chance to collect on UCLA's ridiculous $150.25 price. Not that it would happen but still.

That was a great job by Western Kentucky giving up 8 offensive rebounds on that possession. Jerks. Davidson had me peeing myself. Belmont's coach lost that game for them. When you're clearly the less talented team, you don't run the shot clock down to 8 before starting your offense. You run the offense from the get go.

It was perfectly clear to me and many others here. Can't help it if you weren't paying attention like the rest of us. [-X [-X I simply want the Cubs to win the division, the league and the World Series this year, that's all. To put any hope on having Wood as the closer, given his history of DL stints and who knows how many games he wasn't or won't be available, is bad decision making. Again, he has ZERO saves in his career. How would you ever determine a closer if they're not allowed to ever get their first save? Everyone starts at zero. Goose Gossage started at 100. And he pitched 6 inning saves with regularity. I thought this asshattery was done when Prior left since Kerry isn't good looking and college educated. Oh well, anonymous hatred for people with misfortune will never end.

Dew what you said weren't upsets. Davidson to Final 4. Duke, Tennessee, Memphis, and Georgetown all falling in the 2nd round. Nova and St. Joe's to the sweet 16.
