    I will admit that putting Lofton in CF with 2 superior defenders in the corners would make me chuckle just a little bit. Not as much as I'd die inside, but there would be that chuckle.

    I'm more of the East Coast Bias Media hater. Like this article for example. http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/story/10762646 That just kinda pisses me off, becuase not the fact that I am not a KU fan, but the fact that media outlets are still crying that UNC is still better than KU. Sorry, I don't buy that. KU just smoked UNC. Plain and simple as that. Yeah. Fact is, when we weren't playing dumb, we were hammering them. You guys murdered them, but UNC was playing like a 16 seed the first 15 minutes of the game.

    I'm guessing you're thinking of Edgar Martinez, not Brett Boone. Though Martinez did play quite a few games at 3B early in his career. Even the DHiest of DHs like Pronk or Frank Thomas put in time in the field. That said, it's an abomination. Bastardization of the game.

    I hate wanting that team to win for money. Watching them spend an entire possession trying to draw a charge a minute ago was utterly nauseating. And I don't think I've ever hated a college player like I hate Hansbrough. He's insufferable. Greg Paulus??

    Depending on what happens at Oregon and Oregon State, the Pac-10 could have their strongest group of coaches in a long time. That conference was great this year and will remain top tier with those guys. I think the Big Ten is rising also with their coaches and the Big East is just a beast. The ACC Big 12 and SEC, I'm not so sure about. Yeah but the Big East has Jerry Wainright. That knocks them down a lot.

    people say "a whopping 683 plate appearances" as though it's extremely uncommon for players to reach the majors having had fewer than this many plate appearances at the more advanced minor league levels. it's not. it's actually quite common. and he performed at a decent level in west tennessee in 2005 (it's a pitcher's league and a pitcher's park), beat up pitching in iowa during 2005, and played well for the big club in 2006. it was time to see if he would sink or swim in 2006; starting him out at iowa would have been pointless. in if ronny was "rushed" then i would guess you could say that most of the starting players in baseball were also "rushed." Ryan Theriot wasn't rushed. He was a 27 year old rookie. If only Ronny was afforded the same luxury. He could go mash in AAA for another couple years.
