    I'm not a coffee drinker. And definitely not a drinker of coffee when it is disguised with foam, sugar, chocolate, etc. But for some reason I always end up with Starbucks gift cards and I have no idea where they come from. Never had anything from there other than muffins or coffee cake. Id take muffins and/or coffee cake over Marquis any day. I'd take a scone and I hate scones. I'd take a beating. Well yeah....you live on the South Side. The way I saw it, everyone takes a beating some times.

    It's day to day. Last I heard yesterday he was too sore to take BP. Once the swelling goes down they'll probably find the fracture and then I can light myself on fire.

    About what, changes in the lineup? He said about 10 times over that Dusty was the only person who didn't know that Patterson was sucking at the plate. He then went on about some other problems with Dusty. I was only listening while I was in the car. Reds44 didn't know.

    I mentioned before that I can't wait til Lofton retires, but I fear that won't do. People will just try and get him out of retirement. I guess I can't wait til Kenny Lofton dies.

    South Florida I think. Northwestern should be improved with Rowley, but they'd need to win the Big 10 tourney to make the tournament. I bet the NIT would take them with a winning record though.

    I unfortunately don't think Sean's going to get a shot at the rotation this season. I think he's stuck behind the current 5 + Marshall, Hill, and Hart. I think the best case for this season for Sean is that he has a few more outings like tonight and can become what Marmol was last year. Unfortunately that's not best for Sean's career or health.

    But Lou has moved Soriano out of the leadoff spot. Soriano has been quoted following those few times that he doesn't care where he bats. But Lou moved him back to leadoff after those 3 or 4 games because he went like 1-13 and he apparently finds that to be an adequate sample size.

    It's now or never for Carmody. Next year's Big 10 is probably gonna be the worst it'll be for the foreseeable future.(Sloppy sentence, but I think you get my gist). Northwestern could jump up to as high as 7th IMO. Start with those baby steps, and build from there. There's a lot of talent in Illinois for '09 and '10 to go grab.
