  1. If the Brewers lose another game of ground tomorrow(unlikely), and still start Gallardo on Thursday, they should be prosecuted.
  2. YOU SUCK BREWERS
  3. I'm with you on giving it to Pie. He's still never gotten much of a chance in the bigs. I just really hope he winds up better than Carlos Gomez who is just terrible.
  4. You can rant about how much you love something.
  5. Interesting...since i'm pretty sure we wont be having SRO in the playoffs. Really? Why the change? They were available last year. I don't think Roast knows what he's talking about.
  6. Game 3 last year was at like 4:30 at the latest.
  7. Plus, we have a lineup where Reed Johnson is hitting cleanup. And Casey McGehee hitting in the majors.
  8. You may not know this, not being a Cub fan and all, but the Cubs recently came back from a 6-2 deficit in the 9th inning. Johan will still probably be pitching. 86 pitches through 6. That'd be slightly short-sighted.
  9. Soriano. Reed Johnson will start vs. lefties. Cedeno might as well.
  10. He's given up a perfectly place lazy pop up, A perfectly placed slow grounder, and 2 hard hit grounders. If he loses his playoff spot to Bob [expletive] Howry over this I'm gonna lose it.
  11. Undoubtedly of interest to all of you, the magic # to win my Cubs(-3) bet vs. the White Sox rests at 2. So let's go get me a couple hundred bucks here guys.
  12. I know I'm late on the response, but what I love most about that is that they only play it during big moments of the game. Almost always after the fans begin to make a bunch of noise on their own. And then they kill the fans enthusiasm with their stupid forced noise. They seriously don't allow a moment of silence there. In between every damn AB. They are now on their 3rd song of Lou's visit. I HATE SHEA STADIUM.
  13. Casey McGehee batting 6th. You should feel shame Kosuke and Henry. And Sean.
  14. I was at the one game playoff, behind home plate, it was awesome. The whole crowd stayed and cheered well after the game was over, we were dancing in the aisles. I can't remember, but how were tickets distributed for that game. I can remember watching the Cubs lose to the Astros and then seeing a news report showing fans lined up around Wrigley Field immediately after the playoff was official. Did the Cubs really just take first come first served at the box office or was something else set up? I honestly don't remember. I lived right near wrigley at the time, but I lined up at a Dominick's with a ticketmaster to try to get tickets. Even the first person in my line did not get tickets. I had to use other means to get mine. :ninja: Murder?
  15. i'll go out on a limb and guess it won't be played in West Lafayette Duke is coming to Purdue this year. Purdue, Purdue? Or Indianapolis, Purdue?
  16. Is our game with them, if had to be played on Monday? If we have to play the Astros it would be Monday. If there is more than 2 teams tied after that game, it's gonna be a mess.
  17. Yeah, that'll teach em!
  18. Me, for much the same reasons as UM.
  19. You wouldn't have to re-register for the NLCS.
  20. Ties with playoff spots on the line are broken on the field. They'd have to play 2 games on Wednesday. It would be a mess, and is a big reason why the Astros are idiots for wanting to jam 3 games into Monday and Tuesday at the end of the season.
  21. Paul Sullivan is a dumb, spiteful hobbit.
  22. If it's a number and/or letter combination, then it's unique. If it's something like "chicago," then it would be generic. its a 7 digit code consisting of random letters and numbers Will you post it once you're able to get your tickets? Were you seriously asking for somebody's password so you could try and get tickets and then re-sell them?
  23. I'd say you're giving up way more than necessary for Greene.
  24. Well, it did happen in 1998 as the Giants overcame a 5 game deficit to two teams in one week to force a playoff tiebreaker. That Giants team was way better than this Astros team.
