Where's loukycub been? Went to the same dark corner that all the other "Big 10 sucks" people went to. In his defense, the Big 10 did suck. Michigan State is just a very good team. They would have been a top 4-5 finisher in the Big East (maybe a Villanova type season). It's not MSUs fault that the rest of the league sucked. Well that's just absurdly false. Haha, just as I expected, no matter what actually happened during the tourney, this trash would continue. In response to your previous post, saying people better enjoy getting their beatings on IU now because Tom Crean is rapidly fixing things up the sentence after saying Sampson and Davis set the program back, I don't know how else to take that. I certainly don't see how you can interpret it as saying Crean will get the team back to the level they were at under Davis/Sampson(minus the anarchy that went on off the court with Kelvin)

I really think Indiana fans need to reel in the expectations. Crean has brought in 2 good, not great recruiting classes, and doesn't have much room to add any help in the coming years. Crean right now has IU back on pace to within 2-3 years to be where they've been over the past 20 years, a 3-7 finisher in the Big 10.

Over the last 20 years they've been a run of the mill good team. Along the lines of a Maryland. Before that, Knight or not they have a top of the line resume.

Well, they just fired Tubby Smith. Well not really he left before they could. But, they wanted him out because he wasn't getting talent in there. How in two years should Gillespie have been able to turn that around? JOhn Wooden wouldn't have won a ton with the Kentucky team there now. What about John Wooden plus that guy that paid everyone. Kentucky had one contributing player that BCG brought in. He has been a disaster. And he STILL deserved more than 2 years.

From what I've heard, it's almost as much based on off the floor stuff than actual performance. Though missing the tourney for the first time in forever certainly doesn't help. They knew about the drinking before they hired him. Is there something else? He stopped winning. This firing has nothing to do with Billy's off-court behavior. If he won 25 games this year, somehow UK would be able to put up with his boozing.

I think you have some major issues with Hummel. He's the reason it wasn't a 25 point blowout and yet you felt compelled to come in here and bring him up. Might you say he looks stupid?

Mullens would've been a lottery pick last year. Yikes. The dude is the definition of "meh". He's huge and shot like 64% from the field. The bad Lopez twin was a pick away from the lottery last year. Anyone who's 7 feet and not an Aaron Gray like stiff is an auto-1st rounder.

I can't believe Illinois beat that time by 54 points. Thanks for the 50 bucks Missouri fans. I took solace in the near choke that I could come on here drunk and get myself suspended for a bit for my actions. I'll take the money though for sure.

Ahh, I forgot Gatens. Still doesn't change much in terms of better than 5 wins, but worse than the tourney in 2 years, but it does give them some sort of quality experience.
