Not sure why either of these teams would be, but according to Levine, they are. Doubt they would give much as Detroit has Guillen/Santiago, and the Rockies have Tulo/Barmes who are all better than Theriot this year.

No chance in hell Girardi comes to Chicago to rebuild the Cubs from the Yankees (who are probably going to repeat and three peat if or probably when they sign Cliff Lee in the offseason). If it's anyone but Sandberg, I'll be shocked.

You're right. Zambrano is the epitome of consistency. I don't know about you, but an ERA+ of around 120 every year when he starts is consistent enough for me. -

Wait until he comes back, and sits in the bullpen until he gets traded (like Eyre). Then, watch him go somewhere else and pitch like a maniac (like Eyre) for a contender while we suck another season away. -
Disagree - Z cares about himself. If he really cared so much about winning he would pull his head out of his rectum and use his immense talent in positve ways............... Yes because Lou's dumb idea of moving him to the bullpen earlier in the season agrees with your assessment.
