That quote bothers me more than any Dusty quote I've seen yet. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but I seem to gather that Dusty is just too stubborn, too proud, to change his ways even though all the evidence points to the contrary. It's as if he KNOWS Hairston should lead off full-time now, but he's just neglecting to do it, for whatever stubborn reason he has. "I said what I was going to do and that's what I'm doing." Sounds like what a 5 year old would say when he wants to do something HIS way. So no matter what happens, Dusty's going to do what Dusty wants to do. That will, again, be the downfall of this year's Cubs.
