  1. I'd really like Braylon Edwards or Sidney Rice either one, although I'd prefer Rice. This would allow us to draft OL in the first two rounds and then grab another receiver later on instead of having to use an early pick on one.
  2. How long before the NFL outlaws Twitter?
  3. As most already know, what a monster we have down in TB. Leading the NHL in goals at age 20. On pace for 60+ Oh and Yzerman is awesome.
  4. 1. OL 2. WR 3. S 4. DT 5. LB 6. DE
  5. Can anyone really blame Cutler for avoiding an elevator that could perhaps be full of angry Bears fans/media?
  6. Something else that stands out to me is the popularity of men's golf decreasing by half in the span of one year. One can only assume Tiger lost a lot of fans.
  7. Also what the hell is it about Bears QBs? Grossman and Cutler together have garnered the most unwarranted hate I have ever seen in my life. Just pathetic.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dIcvi9D8ks LOOK AT THAT WIMPY QB. Ironic that this game was broadcasted on ESPN too.
  9. Absolutely impossible to assert. I'm continually amazed at people who think that one play can go differently without the rest of the game changing as well. Extremely unlikely that GB allows that 90-second TD drive by Hanie if they're tied or up 7 as opposed to 14.
  10. Wait I thought Erik had to work today.
  11. How can protection for Cutler not be one of the keys to this game? Maybe it was implied, but that's easily the biggest key IMO. Read #1 in its entirety. The second half of #1 is about the OLine. I did. I guess I just would have put a little more emphasis on it.

  13. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/news/story?id=6049090 Lol.
  14. We all will. We'll have 2 weeks to bask in the awesomeness of beating our rival to get into the Super Bowl. That should be enough time to cement the legacy of the game before the Super Bowl. That said, there's no doubt that losing the Super Bowl will put a damper on this one. You sound pretty confident about tomorrow. I'm jealous.
  15. Something I've been thinking about...will people really remember this game if the winner ends up losing the Super Bowl? I can't see this game going down as an historical landmark in the NFL unless the winner also wins it all in Dallas.
  16. I'm sick and tired of analyzing this game. Let's play some football.
  17. Nobody is 100% this time of year. An 80-85% Chris Harris is not going to decide the outcome of this game.
  18. I want to know why people keep spelling his name with a "c" when "Erik" is part of his username.
  19. Clay Matthews. Oh yeah, I went there. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't know what the hell I would do without you.
  20. Like Urlacher needs another reason to dislike Gale Sayers. Is Sayers that bitter about how his career ended that he has to resort to insulting players on the team he himself played for? There are few guys in the game more badass than Brian Urlacher. From his play on the field all the way down to his "I don't really give a [expletive] what people think of me/us" attitude.
  21. Sanchez had a 12-20 TD/INT ratio last year but was 7th on the list. I'd take Cutler's 27-26 last year over that any day.
  22. A lot of the disrespect the Bears get from the media stems from the fact that they don't really do anything exceptionally well. They're pretty good at a few things instead of being extremely good at one thing, and it doesn't really make for good media. Those in the media have a hard time pumping up the Bears like they can the Packers, Patriots, etc. It's not like they can write article after article about our special teams, nobody wants to read about that. People want to read about high-powered offenses (which is why I don't understand the Jets love), and the Bears have never had that. And because of their long history of offensive futility, people think it's an absolute fluke when they put up 35-40 points in a game. Same thing goes for Cutler: "The Bears haven't had a good QB in 60 years, I can't accept that this one might actually be good!" This of course would contribute to blasphemous things such as Cutler being left off the "Top 10 QBs under 30" list. And people like Mark Sanchez being unanimously considered better QBs. Give me a break.
  23. A few things here. First, Favre lied somewhere along the line by saying he's rooting for the Packers on Sunday considering told Peppers after the game at TCF to "go beat the Packers". Which is it Brett? Not that I really give a [expletive]. Second, Kellen Davis saying the Bears are going to win is a non-story, because he didn't "gaurantee" it. Trust me, it makes a difference. Third, I'm not sure how any Bears fan could root for the Packers in the SB. That's just unfathomable to me. Fourth, the hate coming out of Seattle continues to amaze me. I really think deep down they thought they were superior to the Bears. How devastating it must have been to find out otherwise. Fifth, this thread is awesome.
  24. Locker room fodder. Thank you.
  25. What the hell? Are Seahawks fans the most classless fans in the NFL? It was clear shortly after the game started that Seattle had no chance. Why not accept the loss and realize they weren't really good enough to be playing a divisional playoff game in the first place? I don't know why just because a team beats the defending SB champs amidst a huge home-field advantage and had beaten their next opponent in the regular season means they're entitled to go to the SB. It doesn't work that way.
